The changing table provides an ideal height for better efficiency and comfort. View larger. | About Graco In 1942, Russell Gray and Robert Cone formed Graco Metal Products, in Philadelphia, PA. For 11 years, the firm fabricated machine and car parts for local manufacturers. In 1953, Gray left the firm, leaving Cone as sole owner. Cone decided to manufacture his own line of products, but had trouble coming up with ideas. Enter David Saint, an engineer, tinkerer, and stained glass artisan who worked for Graco. Saint, himself a father of nine, was intrigued when an associate told him how his wife would soothe their tired and cranky baby while swinging in a backyard glider swing. Acting on this inspiration, he went to the drawing board and 18 months of hard work later, the world's first wind-up infant swing, the Graco Swyngomatic, was born. Graco sold millions of Swyngomatics in the coming years, becoming one of the world's leading manufacturers of juvenile products in the process. Today, Graco is a Newell Rubbermaid company, with 1500 associates worldwide. While a half-century has brought many changes to Graco, their dedication and commitment to designing and manufacturing top-quality products remains, and continues on. What's in the Box Playard, removable full size bassinet, an indoor canopy with removable toys, a changing table, parent organizer and carrying bag.

Great product could use some upgrades... October 29, 2008 dlarkin33 We recieved this as a gift, my son is now 10 weeks old and it's gotten daily use since we brought him home from the hospital. The changing table is kinda useless, it hurts my back to much and it tilts inward to much for my liking, so instead it gets used for storage with extra blankets, diapers, wipes, etc. The mobile is useless, it doesn't move unless you do it yourself, i think that if Graco can get the music box connected to the vibration unit they could get this connected to make it a little more useful, but my son does like to look at it as he drifts to sleep. The music box is great, my son loves the music gets him to sleep everytime, and the vibration to. I do have to rotate the mattress continously as it dips towards the middle every few days, but i do it when i'm replacing the cream colored graco quilted sheet i bought for it. ( The sheet is great, espeically cause my son spits up, i wash it all the time and have had great results from it...no shrinking like other reviewers). Now trying to break it down to take it to grandmas is a little difficult, as you can't fit the changing table and it's quite the feat to get the bassinet pieces all to fit to. But overall i'm very happy with it and would recommend it to anyone. *UPDATE* The music box and vibration unit stopped working, so i called graco and they were great, it didn't matter that we didn't buy it (it was a gift) and didn't have a reciept, they ordered the pieces and they should be here soon. Great customer service :)
Definately worth the money October 27, 2008 Carolyn (Indiana, USA) We love this pack and play. The bassinet with changing table have been the best things for our newborn. It is great having everything right in your room. I didn't think that we would use the vibrate function or the sounds, but she loves it! I highly recommend this item!
useless features July 17, 2008 Irina Marinescu 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
It was easy to assemble (took me 10 minutes when I was 38 w pregnant). It's lightweight and can be easily moved around. The vibration feature seems unnatural, I'm not sure it's safe for a newborn (as I use it as a temporary crib), the light is very dim (not sufficient to change the baby diaper in the night!). The baby seems to enjoy the music feature. The toy is completely ignored by the baby. It's a good playard (I trust Graco products), but a simpler model would have been better.
Great July 9, 2008 Texas Mom (Texas) Well I couldn't beat the price or free shipping....it matched the collection (we bought the travel stroller) The colors are terrific for boy or girl! I put this together in a seconds flat! No complaints here!
My son loves it! June 27, 2008 Aspiring photographer (FL) I had an older pack 'n play, but decided to upgrade since this one has a changing table and we were going to be moving and not have access to our son's crib for a few months. We've been using our new pack 'n play for over two months now as a crib and it's been wonderful! It's so much easier to break down than the old one (the buttons on the four sides are easier to press in and are better at releasing the latches). I love that it comes with a travel case as well - it made it so easy to check at the airport. The only drawback I've seen is that the changing table doesn't break down small enough for a suitcase, so we had to mail it to ourselves at our destination. I don't know about the bassinet insert, because we haven't used it yet (my son was 10 months old when we got it). Definitely recommend getting a Graco pack 'n play!
