Safe, Convenient, Versatile Travel System for Families on the Go
The travel system allows you to shop at the mall, go for walks at the park, and enjoy day trips with ease: the car seat snaps easily in and out of the car base and is designed to fit perfectly into the stroller--you'll find this especially convenient if your baby has been lulled to sleep by the car and you don't want to disturb his nap! Simply snap car seat out of the stay-in-car base and into the stroller and go, sleeping baby undisturbed. You can also carry the car seat by its handle to easily and safely transport your infant. Purchase additional car seat bases for your second family car or for the grandparents' car as a cost-effective, convenient, and versatile travel option.

Versatile Car Seat Doubles as Carrier
The SafeSeat Infant Car Seat is a standard, rear-facing car seat is designed for infants between 5 and 30 pounds and less than 32 inches tall, which allows use for most babies from birth through the age of one. The cushiony car seat is built with a five-point front-adjusting harness and EPS energy-absorbing foam for comfort and superior safety, and it includes removable infant head support for additional safety and security.

The seat quickly and easily snaps in and out of the stay-in-car base. A sturdy handle allows the seat to double as an infant carrier, making it convenient and safer to transport fragile newborns and sleeping older infants. It includes a 180-degree rotating canopy to shade your baby from multiple directions. The car seat can be secured in newer-model vehicles with the LATCH system. This car seat meets or exceeds U.S. standards including U.S. Compliance Standard FMVSS 213; Side Impact ISO Method; New Car Assessment Program (NCAP); and Extreme Car Interior Temperatures.

A Sturdy and Versatile Stroller
Lightweight yet sturdy, the Quattro Tour Stroller offers roomy yet easy-to-use travel convenience that's perfect for short jaunts around the block to longer excursions to the zoo. Snap your baby's car seat into the stroller for easy, parent-facing transportation until your little one can sit up by herself; use the stroller without the car seat--with your child facing forward--from the time she can sit up (around 6 months of age) until she is up to 50 pounds in weight--so even when your child outgrows the infant car seat, you'll still be using the stroller for years to come.

The stroller is constructed with a durable welded aluminum frame, and it features a combination three- or five-point harness, an adjustable sun visor with a peek-a-boo window, and a four-position reclining seat that can lay completely flat for easy napping. Removable infant head supports provide your baby with an extra-comfy ride. A handy storage basket at the bottom is accessible even when the child's seat is fully reclined. The parent's organizing tray offers two cup holders and additional storage space, and a rotating child's tray in front can keep a cup, juice-box, or snack in convenient reach while on the go. The one-touch brakes and the locks and suspension on the front swivel wheels help make the stroller easy to maneuver and control. When not in use, the stroller's special one-hand gravity-fold design makes it simple to collapse for easy storage and transport.

About Graco
In 1942, Russell Gray and Robert Cone formed Graco Metal Products, in Philadelphia, PA. For 11 years, the firm fabricated machine and car parts for local manufacturers. In 1953, Gray left the firm, leaving Cone as sole owner. Cone decided to manufacture his own line of products, but had trouble coming up with ideas. Enter David Saint, an engineer, tinkerer, and stained glass artisan who worked for Graco. Saint, himself a father of nine, was intrigued when an associate told him how his wife would soothe their tired and cranky baby while swinging in a backyard glider swing. Acting on this inspiration, he went to the drawing board and 18 months of hard work later, the world's first wind-up infant swing, the Graco Swyngomatic, was born. Graco sold millions of Swyngomatics in the coming years, becoming one of the world's leading manufacturers of juvenile products in the process. Today, Graco is a Newell Rubbermaid company, with 1500 associates worldwide. While a half-century has brought many changes to Graco, their dedication and commitment to designing and manufacturing top-quality products remains, and continues on.

4 out of 5 stars nice product   August 7, 2008
moory (Orlando, FL)
We just got it from Amazon, the shipping was handled very well... The pattern turns out more pretty than I thought from the website, very delicate and good for both boy or girl. The stroller folds more easily compared to the older models we saw in stores. The car seat was a bit heavier compared to SnagRide, but considering it will hold longer time and designed to be more safely, we are happy with the purchase and can't wait to put our baby in it:)

3 out of 5 stars Not the best option   July 4, 2008

Before my baby arrived I was very happy with this travel system, because it seemed to handle very well, has lots of storage space, folds and unfolds easily. But after 5 months of use I hate it more and more everyday for the following reasons:
Stroller:
1. It's heavy and bulky, doesn't fit in some trunks and even if it does in medium and standard cars it takes up the entire trunk.
2. The canopy is terrible, doesn't give much coverage from the sun, and it makes a "crack" sound when opening or closing it, which sometimes wakes my baby when he's sleeping. Also I have the Bermuda print, and it doesn't have a cover over the window and even though it's tinted there's still too much sunlight that comes through.
3. It has no suspension, which doesn't matter if you're strolling through the mall, but with our bumpy side walks it's a problem. It's also really noisy, going over any minor bump on the road everything creaks. It just feels like a bad quality stroller.
4. It maneuvers great when empty, but with a baby and diaper bag (not to say the car seat) it's super heavy and now I'm having back problems. Also the wheels are so big they bump against everthing, it's really hard to steer through aisles at stores and other small places.
5. It doesn't recline very smoothly, also cracks and when my baby dozes off while strolling and I want to recline him I almost alwys wake him up.
Carseat:
1. I love that it fits 30 pound babies, because it will last longer, and it seems comfortable and the straps are easy to put on and off, BUT it's so big on some cars you can only put it in the middle seat or put the passanger seat all the way forward. Also on planes it barely fits in the seat and the poor girl seating in front of us of course couldn't recline her seat one bit during the entire flight. The carrying bar also makes a lot of noise when you shift it between positions, again waking the baby.
2. As a BABY CARRIER it's terrible, it's just to heavy and big. So forget using it as a carrier, I always take the stroller to snap it in there because lugging it around is just out of the question. A note of caution: a lot of people complain that it won't fit in shopping carts, BUT you're not supposed to put any car seat or baby carrier on a shopping cart! It's very dangerous!

My recommendation to anyone considering this or any other system is to carefully evaluate your needs, and sometimes you can't know a lot of priorities until the baby arrives. So my advice to save your money and time would be to narrow it down to a few good strolles, but don't buy it until the baby is born. Just get the car seat that can snap into those strollers and the snap n' go. Then you can make a better choice and buy just one stroller. Or talk to friends who have babies and ask to try their strollers with baby, daiper bag and everything on it. Most of my friends have the Peg Perego Pilko P3 and boy do I wish I had gotten that one instead, it has all the same features and more, with half the weight and it folds like and umbrella stroller.

5 out of 5 stars The cadillac of travel systems.   June 27, 2008

First of all I have to say I am very impressed with BabyAge...not only was the price for this travel system including shipping etc. VERY fair(cheaper than the before tax and shipping cost from Target) It got here in record time and with all parts and no damage. I believe I ordered it on the 23rd...and it arrived today! I am soooo happy!

As to the travel system, I couldn't be happier. The color and pattern are excellent...even better than it looks on the website, it was easy to put together, and is a nice large cozy stroller and seat that I am sure we will get plenty of use out of. It seems totally durable, and the best choice for our family. Graco makes a great product! The only thing that was kind of a pain was getting the little metal pins in to the wheel axle for the rear wheels, but I figured it out, and the entire thing took less than 20 minutes to assemble including the time I took to latch the car seat in to the stroller.

5 out of 5 stars Wonderful for bigger babies!!!!   April 30, 2008

I love this travel system. Our son came 5 weeks early and when he finally came home from the hospital, the car seat worked wonderful for him (he was around 6 pounds). And the car seat is still fitting him good at 8 1/2 months and 23.5 pounds and 27.5 inches long! The car seat is heavy to carry, but it is worth the money for the extra time you get in it - since it has a higher weight/length than other infant carriers.

Love the stroller too. The only problem with it is that it doesn't fit very easily in a trunk of a smaller car. My son loves riding in it. My husband loves how easy it is to use, as do I. It is so easy to unfold and re-fold and push and stop and everything.

We liked this travel system since both the cars seat and the stroller go up to higher weigh/heigh limits than most do.

Excellent and very well made products!

5 out of 5 stars Excellent quality   April 24, 2008

I chose this stroller because it is very easy to fold/unfold it. You can do it with one hand and only the wheels will be touching the ground during the whole process. The maneuver is excellent.

There is only one thing I don't like (but I don't think it is a problem with this product). When the baby is in the car seat, it is very heavy and it is difficult for a woman to carry it around with one arm. Having said that, I think this car seat is NOT heavier than other brand. And I won't complain too much about the weight as long as it is safe to my baby.
