Product Description The Graco Alano Travel System Your worries are over...well, a couple at least...with the new Graco Alano Travel System. The Alano stroller features a one hand, self-standing fold, eliminating the hassle of bending over to pick it up. The lower and load storage basket on the Alano allows for easy access to your baby gear under the stroller without waking a resting child. The multiple-position recline easily adjusts with one hand. The convenient parent organizer tray features two deep cup holders and an accessory compartment for items such as keys and cell phones. Children also have their own pivoting tray with a stationary cupholder, as well as an area for toys and snacks! The Graco SnugRide Car Seat is the perfect partner to the Alano stroller. The five point harness keeps baby secure in the baby car seat. It is one of the most versatile Graco products, as it works with numerous strollers and infant seat carriers. Most major brands of strollers will accommodate the Graco SnugRide car seat. It is also equipped with the LATCH system for easy installation. The SnugRide is safe because of the EPS, energy absorbing foam liner. It cradles and supports the body when an accident occurs. It has been rated the top car seat in a study done by Consumer Reports. With both stroller and car seat, you'll be ready for all types of trips. View larger. | Sturdy, Stylish Stroller This travel system includes the sturdy, stylish Alano stroller that's designed for infants and children up to four years old and less than 40 pounds. It's comfortable for baby, and easy to set up and fold down for you. The Alano features durable elliptical tubing that stands to wear and tear, and a one-hand, self-standing fold that necessitates no bending and automatically latches for effortless take-down and storage. The convertible 3- and 5-point harness grows with your child and keeps her secure, while the front swivel wheels have locks and suspension for a safe, smooth ride. Baby will enjoy the child's tray with cup/snack holder that pivots for easy stroller entry, a multi-position reclining seat, footrest, and a full arched canopy with peek-a-window for weather protection that doesn't completely obscure his view of the world, or your view of him. Parents can place their own drinks, snacks, keys and diaper bag in the parent storage tray, which comes complete with two deep cupholders and a large storage basket that drops down so you can grab your gear even when the seat is fully reclined. Safe, Reliable Infant Car Seat Like the Alano stroller, the SnugRide infant car seat comes with a protective, rotating canopy and is easy to put in both the stroller and the car, take out and adjust. It's designed to be rear facing for infants five to 22 pounds and measuring less than 29 inches. The SnugRide offers a secure 5-point harness for safety, a two-piece chest clip to help maintain proper positioning, removable infant head support--so important for babies who cannot yet hold up their heads--and a stay-in-the-car adjustable base. In addition, this seat keeps baby comfy with the removable, deluxe seat pad. When it comes to safety, the SnugRide is LATCH equipped and features EPS (Energy Absorbing Foam Liner), which can help protect baby in case of an accident. There's even an easy-to-read level indicator, so you always know it's properly installed. Easy Care and Maintenance Graco knows that busy parents don't have a lot of time to dedicate to the maintenance of their baby's accessories. That's why this travel system features durable, easy-care construction that you can depend on. When it's time to clean up, simply place the removable carseat cushion in cold water on the delicate cycle and line dry. To clean the stroller frame, use only household soap and warm water; never use bleach. If the wheels squeak, an application of light oil should solve the problem. The stroller weighs 20.2 pounds while the car seat (with base) weighs 12.6 pounds (7.2 pounds without) and measures 17.5 x 26.7 x 24.2 inches (WxHxD). About Graco In 1942, Russell Gray and Robert Cone formed Graco Metal Products, in Philadelphia, PA. For 11 years, the firm fabricated machine and car parts for local manufacturers. In 1953, Gray left the firm, leaving Cone as sole owner. Cone decided to manufacture his own line of products, but had trouble coming up with ideas. Enter David Saint, an engineer, tinkerer, and stained glass artisan who worked for Graco. Saint, himself a father of nine, was intrigued when an associate told him how his wife would soothe their tired and cranky baby while swinging in a backyard glider swing. Acting on this inspiration, he went to the drawing board and 18 months of hard work later, the world's first wind-up infant swing, the Graco Swyngomatic, was born. Graco sold millions of Swyngomatics in the coming years, becoming one of the world's leading manufacturers of juvenile products in the process. Today, Graco is a Newell Rubbermaid company, with 1500 associates worldwide. While a half-century has brought many changes to Graco, their dedication and commitment to designing and manufacturing top-quality products remains, and continues on. What's in the Box Stroller, car seat and two canopies.

Great travel System..Amazon is Best. September 9, 2008 Ramesh Kadaru (NJ,USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Initially we ordered this system from BabyAge through Amazon, they delayed the shipment when we call BabyAge they said they don't know when they ship :-) so we had to cancel the BabyAge shipment and called Amazon they provided the Travel system for the same price and with speed shipment with no additional cost. Amazon is best... Regarding the Travel System we really like this system. It was easy to put together. We have only used Car seat couple of times so far, but our son seemed too comfortable in car seat. But we feel car seat is little big for new born, and we disappointed little with the color. It's not we expected it. But we liked it. I would recommend this system.
Smooth ride! March 12, 2008 Picky Parent (Las Vegas, NV) 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
I was a little hesitant to order this travel system because I couldn't find many reviews on it and I couldn't find any stores that carried it so I could try it out in person. Nevertheless, I went ahead and ordered it because I loved the neutral color scheme and that it wasn't "babyish". The stroller wasn't difficult to assemble at all; my husband and I put it together rather quickly. The carseat is easy to snap into and take out of the base, and my little girl (she was a preemie) fits perfectly in there and looks very comfortable. I absolutely love the stroller! I've used many strollers before and always had troubles navigating them through crowded stores with many tight turns. This stroller is so easy to push and turns are smooth and effortless; it can easily be pushed one-handed. I love that the shades completely cover my daughter when the carseat is in the stroller. It keeps all of the germs, wind, and nosey people out, yet has a clear window for me to check on her and she can also easily see me through it as I push her, which I love. The basket below is very large and I can't say enough about the parent and child's tray! I absolutely love that there are 2 cup holders for both my husband and I when we're on a family outing (and my daughter has her own as well) and there's even a spot for my cell phone, car keys, and pacifier. The stroller's one-hand fold system is a bit tricky (though my husband had no troubles with it) but with a little practice, I now have no problems opening or closing it with one hand (and a foot to balance it). I am extremely happy I chose this system and highly recommend it; it is far superior to all others I've seen and tested.
Stroller and Car Seat February 8, 2008 Cheryl Nadeau (New Hampshire) 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
This product was pretty simple to put together and operate. The car seat is so simple. Just one hand and you can unlock and remove from the base. We just love it!!!

I haven't used the stroller yet, but have been pleased with the car seat and base. I think we made a good and safe choice for our baby boy.
well built for travel January 16, 2008 Karen Krieger 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
We travel quite a lot and wanted a stroller that would take a beating in the airline baggage department. So far we have a few nicks and scratches but it's up and running and the folding mechanism is working perfectly. The carseat removes seamlessly and is not clumsy. Rugged and well built, we like Graco, the Cadillac.
