4 out of 5 stars It's working for now...   October 21, 2008
Melissa Damon (Lynchburg, VA)
We like this seat, but our son (2) complains that it hurts his bottom. It seems to me that the buckle between his legs is awfully close and probably gets uncomfortable. We bought this seat hoping to use it for a year or more, but I think our son will out grow it pretty quick.

4 out of 5 stars Easy and safe   October 9, 2008
Holly Henderson (boston, ma)
I was hesitant to buy this because I am not fond of the print, but it got such great reviews that it seemed like the best option. I also wanted a seat that would keep my son rear-facing longer before switching him to forward-facing.
I was not previously familiar with the LATCH system, so it took me awhile to install the first seat (about 45 minutes). The second seat took about two minutes because I knew what I was doing.
It seems comfortable for my 13-month-old son. He is not fond of car seats in general, but he seems to struggle less in this one than he did in the last one. I appreciate the accessible buckle for adjusting the straps (the one between the legs). I will need to move the shoulder straps up to the next level soon and I just hope that I don't have to un-LATCH the seat to do that.
Overall a good option. Easy to install if you are familiar with LATCH, comfortable and strudy.

4 out of 5 stars Great 2nd seat   October 7, 2008
Christina A. Clement
We got this car seat for our 2nd car. My husband picks our son up 1-2 times a week only and this seat is a great for that. It's not very padded so I wouldn't recommended using it for long trips, but it's easy to install and use!

5 out of 5 stars Love This Product...We Have Two!   September 28, 2008
Dani (NB, Canada)
We bought this carseat for our son when he grew out of his infant carseat, yet still had to be rear facing. We liked it so much that we got a second one for my husband's jeep. It fits nicely into the jeep. I have a Corolla and it fits great in that as well. Great for small vehicles! It is very easy to use. You can't beat the price either. This carseat is well worth the money!! We would buy it again!

5 out of 5 stars Used for visiting nephew/approx. 10 days   September 11, 2008
N. Rapuano (menlo park, ca)
i bought this car seat because my sister's family was visiting and they wanted to leave their car seat at home. renting a car seat for that time was about $50 so it was a bit more but without the hassle of renting.
i'm saying this because we only used the seat for about 10 days but it worked out perfectly for our needs. my nephew is 19 months old about 25lbs (tall and skinny). he was completely comfortable (didn't fuss) and was able to sleep comfortably in the seat. i don't have kids so i confirmed with my sister and her husband and they agreed that this seat was perfectly acceptable.
