Fantastic car seat! August 21, 2008 Krista J. Branan (Melbourne, FL) Our twin boys are now five months old, and we are continuing to love these car seats. The triangular-shaped handle is awesome ... allows for easy turning and shifting from one hand to another. The sun shade is exceptionally large and covers almost the entire seat -- great when it's raining outside. Making adjustments to the head rest and the straps is a simple process -- and best of all is the easy handle/lever system to take the seat off of the base. Also, check out the Consumer Reports reviews -- this car seat is tops for safety. We'd definitely buy the same seat again.
The CADILLAC! July 28, 2008 Charles E. Schmitz (Ozarks of Arkansas) There's no doubt that this is THE Cadillac of infant car seats. I gave this as a gift and, of course, the manufacturer of this little beauty made me a super hero. You can't go wrong with this product!!!
Good Product Great Price July 18, 2008 saky10 (baltimore, md) I recently purchased this car seat for my newborn son and I agree that the spanish only directions caught me off guard and made what should've been a quick installation in my new honda civic take about 30 minutes. However, once my husband and I figured out how to attach the latch things and seat belt we were good to go. I suggest that anyone who purchases this infant seat refer to the pictures/stickers on the actual car seat to help get it installed. Unless you read spanish just throw the directions out. Besides that I like it. Nice handle, light weight, great price for a good product.
Would recommend, but... January 11, 2008 J. Nicholson (New Mexico) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
FOUR STARS!!! We got this seat because it's attractive and it has high safety ratings. We are a little sorry we did! We should have sent it back and gotten something else the minute we opened it and found Spanish only installation instructions...no English!!! There are photo instructions on the back of the seat also, but we would have preferred written English instructions for at least FAQ and troubleshooting, as we did not feel that we were able to get the seat in at quite the right angle and never did figure out why. Our daughter is now 11 mos and 18 lbs. The straps are starting to be too tight, so we doubt we'll be able to make it to the 22 lbs the seat promises, but we've probably fared better than most do with infant seats! Also, to move the handle up and down is very difficult, as is buckling the crotch straps. I do realize it's a 5 point harness, but other seats handle the crotch buckle far easier. The seat is just not as easy and pleasant to use as I think it could be. But we've definitely gotten our money's worth and according to the safety ratings it's worth the trouble. I would now change my star rating to four stars after nearly a year's use, but I can't figure out how to edit the star rating.
