The Maxi-Cosi Mico Infant Car Seat offers European style while providing the ultimate in comfortable transportation. Includes EPP foam for energy absorption, plush cozi dozi infant insert and a stay in car base. The Mico's weighted base (included) installs in a rear-facing configuration with LATCH connectors, but you can also install the carseat using only your vehicle's safety belts and the carrier's special belt guides. Compatible with the Quinny Buzz and the Quinny Zapp. Weighs 8.65 lbs.( without the base). For children 5-22 lbs. and up to 29 inches. 14"H x 17"W x 25"D. Juice, Lemonade, Black, and Happy Flowers. I purchased the Maxi Cosi Infant Car Seat because of it's compatibility with the Quinny Buzz Stroller which we also purchased. After taking some time to get used to using it...Overall, the Maxi Cosi is a decent car seat but it is somewhat unrefined and cumbersome in that the safety harness snaps are not easy to use and the the car seat cradle doesn't detach/attach smoothly at all times. The car seat cradle sometimes becomes "locked" so that the seat cannot be placed into it without fudging with the release lever. Also the padding around the buckle part constantly slips off and may be easily lost. As far as compatibility with the Quinny stroller, it matches perfectly. However, again releasing the car seat from the stroller can be a bit difficult. Maxi Cosi could be a fantastic car seat were it not for these shortcomings.
