About Graco In 1942, Russell Gray and Robert Cone formed Graco Metal Products, in Philadelphia, PA. For 11 years, the firm fabricated machine and car parts for local manufacturers. In 1953, Gray left the firm, leaving Cone as sole owner. Cone decided to manufacture his own line of products, but had trouble coming up with ideas. Enter David Saint, an engineer, tinkerer, and stained glass artisan who worked for Graco. Saint, himself a father of nine, was intrigued when an associate told him how his wife would soothe their tired and cranky baby while swinging in a backyard glider swing. Acting on this inspiration, he went to the drawing board and 18 months of hard work later, the world's first wind-up infant swing, the Graco Swyngomatic, was born. Graco sold millions of Swyngomatics in the coming years, becoming one of the world's leading manufacturers of juvenile products in the process. Today, Graco is a Newell Rubbermaid company, with 1500 associates worldwide. While a half-century has brought many changes to Graco, their dedication and commitment to designing and manufacturing top-quality products remains, and continues on. Great quality and comfort. November 26, 2008 E. J. Loftus (Geneseo, IL USA) I couldn't be happier with the TurboBooster SafeSeat. The quality is great as has always been the case with the Graco products I have purchased in the past. My daughter informs me that the seat is very comfortable and loves the arm rests. The fold-out cupholders are a great addition.
jakes mom says November 26, 2008 Slamanc (eastern N.C.) I bought this last year for my above average in size 2 year old. I chose this seat because I trust Graco and the price was low. The seat has held up great. Actually it still looks new. There is plenty of room to grow. He still uses the back of the seat, but probably for only one more growth spurt. I truely think this will be the last car seat I will have to buy. Thanks Graco!
Great seat! November 11, 2008 S. Corter (Denver, NC) I purchased two of these seats for my 4 1/2 year old twins. They are very comfortable in them. The only complaint I would have is they are not very comfortable if they needed to sleep in the car. One of my kids complained that his neck hurt. Other than that they are great seats!
Upholds Graco Reputation October 24, 2008 Julie C. Vanderploeg (Colorado City, CO United States) I like this seat, but agree with other reviews that it doesn't have much padding. It works, is safe, and my son loves the cup holders.
Comfortable, attractive, and safe October 14, 2008 A. Dunn (Woodburn, OR) My daughter picked this booster seat out because of its color. However, I did some research and found Graco boosters are rated as very safe. So we both love it. Two drink holders, attractive floral pattern and comfortable seat make her happy, while I enjoy knowing she is riding in a seat that is safe.
