Product Description Eddie Bauer Alpha Omega Deluxe 3-in-1 Car Seat For those who like to have it all at once the Eddie Bauer Alpha Omega Deluxe 3-in-1 car seat is the perfect choice. Its ingenious design ensures that it will be the only car seat ever needed. It converts from a rear facing car seat to a forward facing car seat to a belt positioning booster for up to 100 lbs. It is an attractive car seat which can take the child from the hospital to the first day of school. An attractive feature on the Alpha Omega Deluxe 3-in-1 Car Seat is the easy adjusting backrest. It features two levers for rotation. What makes it so special is that the parent will not have to rethreaed the harness through another slot, making conversion easy. Parents with several children will certainly appreciate that function. It is LATCH compatible as well. Simply find the LATCH connection points near the seatbelt of the car and connect with ease. The Eddie Bauer Alpha Omega 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat does not compromise on comfort either. There is an infant head support to provide stability and comfort. It also boasts a side mesh storage pocket. The Alpha Omega from Eddie Bauer is equipped with comfortable fabric. It's one of the few car seats capable of taking a child from the hospital to the playground.

Not the last seat you'll ever need February 11, 2007 Elizabeth Leonard (BBNP, TX, United States) Very short harness slot height means that an average sized child will outgrow the harness before age 2, which is way too young for the dubious belt positioner. I bought two of these mistakes because I had no idea that there were seats with heigher harness slots, and heigher harness weight limits. My daughter is using them for now, my son is in a Parkway booster. Save your money, this is NOT the last seat you'll ever need. I was happy with this seat until my son was 2, as it is a comfy seat for a baby. It is a lousy toddler/preschool seat. Now I'm trying to get my son a Britax Regent, and my daughter a Boulevard, or a Fisher-Price Safe Voyage Deluxe (same as a Britax Marathon, only less expensive) The top harness slot is NOT meant for the harness and can't be used with the harness, it's meant for moving the pillow up to use with the seatbelt positioners, and will snap in an accident. Again, my kids did great in this seat as babies, but I hate, hate, hate it for toddlers and preschoolers. Oh, and the cover wore out fast, the belts tangle easily, and it's hard to tighten and loosen the straps. It is easy to install.
Terrible car seat January 18, 2007 Holly B. (Florida) We absolutely don't like this car seat. Firstly, it is very difficult to install and when we had to take the cover off to clean it, it was like taking apart some complex puzzle that had no instructions. Even the instruction guide was difficult to follow. Luckily my husband had ordered an Evenflow Tribute Deluxe Convertible car seat and after putting that back in the car, we wouldn't even think of trying to use this one again. I regret the 130.00 that we wasted on it. Terrible! Don't waste your money.
Excellent car seat!!! December 19, 2006 C. Wagner (Central PA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this car seat online after looking at babies R us in the store. This was the exact same as they were selling in the stores but in a different pattern. The price was great and the car seat could not be better. I find it easy to install, although rear facing I did have to roll a towel under it to make it recline like it said to but forward facing it is FANTASTIC! It will last forever and once I figured out how to get the cushions off to wash it was great. I highly recommend it!
Love it!!! November 16, 2006 Jacqueline Graham (Cape Cod, MA USA) We bought this car seat for our son when he was 3 months. He is now 2yrs. We have loved this seat from day one! It reclines and it grows with your child. We have a Chevy Blazer and installation was no problem. We have taken may long trips (15hrs or more), and my son is very comforable in this seat. Having the recline feature is wonderful, when he begins to fall asleep we recline the seat and his head never droops forward! Its great. Definatly worth the money, especially because we won't have to buy another seat for him again!! When it comes to removing the cover to clean it, that can be a pain the first time, after you figure out where everything hooks its easy. We love this seat and recommend it to anyone who has a car or SUV with at least 2 doors.
not happy with this seat November 3, 2006 G. Yarlagadda we bought this car seat for our daughter but was dissapointed with the product on the whole. firstly, installation took a long time and secondly her head drooped forward or to the sides when she slept in it which was uncomfortable to watch. after a couple of days of use, we tried to return the seat to the vendor who refused to take it back because they said we had used it. we have now bought a britax and are happy with it and the eddie bauer is back in the box while we wonder what to do with it.
