Great Seat! June 30, 2008 M. Burns (New Jersey) I had purchased this seat in it's original color (red/yellow/blue) back in 2002 for our grandson instead of a highchair. His mom purchased one for the same reason, having no room for a highchair in her house. Mine is now being used for our third grandchild, age 6 months, and easily can be used for the 2 year old without the tray so he can sit at the table. Easy to take off the chair, two clips. Easy to wash at the sink. Tray fits in the dishwasher. Portable. We take it along on vacation for the grandkids and have used it in restaurants. I've reccomended this to all of my clients, as I work with newborn babies and their families.
Great Value! May 27, 2008 J. West I purchased this seat after borrowing a similar one from my daughter's therapist. It was very easy to set up and the only problem I have is sometimes the tray is hard to put on. The tray is very easy to clean and the price was good!
Great booster for small spaces and for the price February 8, 2008 Cori Castaldo We have a tiny house - a high chair takes up WAY too much room. This booster just fits at our table on a chair - no extra space needed. It's a travel booster and folds up easily, but we use it all the time. We bought a second one for travel. I was worried that it wouldn't hold my children securely, but it does. My son was small when he started using it and I packed a towel around him to make sure he wouldn't fall out. He was sitting well, but would throw himself to one side or another with abandon(you know, the "mom would never let me hurt myself" deal). I don't think the towel was necessary, but it made me feel better. The only bad thing is yes, it's a little difficult to really clean. It's all plastic so you can just throw it in the sink, which is nice, but it has little holes at the joints where food gets in. It's been a little ripe at times. I'd still recommend it over any of the others I've seen. The cleaning issue is the only reason I gave it less than five stars. I had one for my two older children (now five and eight) and gave it away. I'm now buying another for my third child.
Seat is better than the others! November 29, 2007 Kayton Spicer (Massachusetts) I own 3 of these chairs and use them instead of high chairs. They are easy to clean and great to travel with. I use them every meal and don't eat at anyone else's house without them. I've owed every booster seat on the market and find this one to be the most convienient. My only omplaint is that the latches sometimes get stuck but the tray still locks into place so it's really not a big deal.
The best booster ever November 27, 2007 Rachel (Plantation, Florida USA) Well I think this is a great booster! I need a second one. I take care of kids at home too and have put 4-5 months old to 3 year olds in it and it's the best. So what if you have to take it apart to clean it? At least after that you know it's CLEAN! It might be hard to travel around with it, but I haven't had a problem. It's also dropped, but nothing broke, like one of the review said. It might get scratched, but so what? I've had it for 2 years now going strong and it's great. From using it on chairs to the floor, it comes apart, stores well, and I can even walk around with it to my neighbor closed up, with out the tray. It's an excellent chair and it's a excellent price too. If you want to go and get a "higher quality" one that reclines, has padding, - have fun cleaning the padding when the kids are older - just get a high chair then. How can you recline a booster on a chair?!
