Editorial Review The discreetly quiet and portable Isis Back to Work Breast Pump Set is a gentle, safe, and discreet way to express and store breast milk for later feedings. This set weighs less than a pound and includes an Isis handheld breast pump, an insulated shoulder bag (about the size of a lunch box); two 4-ounce and two 9-ounce Avent bottles with newborn nipples and silicone sealing lids; disposable breast pads; and two freezer packs. The Isis breast pump is a one-handed manual pump (no batteries or electrical hookups are required) with a silicone diaphragm and soft cushion "petals" that work together to mimic breastfeeding. The soft "petals" in the cushion send a message to the breast to stimulate a natural let-down reflex, and the silicone diaphragm creates a vacuum to help express more milk quickly and quietly. Many moms claim that this manual pump can express the same volume of milk in the same amount of time as the larger electric pumps. Dishwasher safe. --Deb Oroszlan

better than my electric pump November 19, 2008 N. Manners (new york) This is a great pump I get more milk out with this pump than my playtex electric pump. I admit you will spend more time pumping but I feel its worth it, you will get really get your monies worth using this product. This is the first manual pump I bought and I am happy with the results. When I take long trips and my son doesn't accompany me I take the pump. I pump in bathroom stalls and it doesn't bother me because it doesn't make any noise , so no one knows what im doing! I recommend this product to anyone looking for a manual pump don't look anywhere else, it doesn't get any better than this!
Works perfect with me :) September 29, 2008 S. Mendoza (Harrisburg, NC) I love my Isis. A friend bought it to me as a gift and I use it everyday. First it was a little hard, but it was only because my milk wasn't coming out at all. But after my production started, the pump started to work perfectly. Highly recommended :)
Good pump August 31, 2008 Little Ladies Mama (Houston, TX) I used this pump with my second child, it was a good pump and easy to use. I had a few issues with it, but overall was very satisfied with it. Issue #1: If the little valve pieces were not perfectly in place you would have zero suction. I realize that this is a user error, but when you have 10 minutes to pump two breast...it can be an issue. Consant use helps minimize this issue. Issue #2: After about 4 months of using this pump, I had a lot of problems with leaking around the neck where the bottle connect to the breast flange. I summed this up to daily use 2 or 3 times a day, however it was still an issue for me. Over all this breast pump is easy to use, is soft and comfortable and super easy to clean. I recommend it to anyone who is looking for an inexpensive way to pump occasionally. THis is not a pump for daily use...if that is what you are looking for, I suggest the Ameda Purely Yours.
Philips Avent Isis On the Go Set July 27, 2008 Carolyn Miller (Apache Junction, AZ USA)
With all of the research I have done, I feel that this pump is the best quality manual pump that is on the market. The suction can really be compared to that of electronic pumps. You can control the speed and frequency yourself as well. A very good product.
Excellent! July 11, 2008 J. M. Deicher This pump works wonderfully! Although it was a little difficult to figure out how to use it at first, once I got the hang of it, I can now pump more manually on one breast than I can with my double electric pump on both breasts! It is also way more gentle than my electric pump, too. I highly recommend this pump! Well worth the money.
