Product Description A unique breastmilk storage system designed for freezing or refrigerating breast milk, providing a safe alternative to plastic bags for storing and freezing milk for your baby. The storage rack is designed to allow ten five ounce bottles to rotate so that the milk is used in a "first-in, first-out" basis. Each bottle includes a cap plug and screw on cap to eliminate leaking. The bottles universal thread size allows the bottles to be screwed directly to most breast pumps to be used as breastpump collection bottles. Bottles may also be used to feed the baby with a universal nipple and collar. Set includes 10 bottles, 10 plugs, 10 caps, freezergrade labels, and storage rack. The storage rack is made from heavy duty wire and powder coated in white. Powder coating is a highly durable painting process. The bottles are manufactured using polypropylene plastic. This material meets the Food and Drug Administration requirements of 21CFR 177.1520,conforms to USP XXIII Class VI requirements, and is Kosher certified.

Convenient for Storage and Feeding September 17, 2008 A. Magnano (Chicago, IL) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I work fulltime and pump every day. These fit right onto my Medela pump and I can screw on a Dr. Browns nipple, collar, and vent (with the straw cut down) for feeding. The rack is a very nice way to keep the bottles organized and out-of-the-way in the fridge. Despite the sideways storage, I have never had any leaks. I also like the fact that I don't have to worry about my husband not grabbing the oldest milk to feed my son when I'm away, as he knows to just take whatever is in front. Due to my hatred of milk storage bags, I purchased an array of milk storage bottles instead. Of all the bottles I tried, I found these to be the most comfortable for pumping, due to the size and shape. I can rest the bottles on my legs when sitting down and effectively pump hands-free without wearing a special hands-free pumping contraption. The threading also fits very securely onto my Medela pump, so there is no worry of the bottles getting knocked off mid-pumping. It should be noted that the neck of these bottles seems to be ever so slightly wider than standard. When I first got them, I thought they were too big to fit the Dr. Browns tops onto... but I found that they do fit, it's just very snug and might take a little effort to get on. I would like these bottles even better if they were slightly larger by maybe an ounce. You don't really want to put much more than 4oz in these bottles. I've come to the point where I need more storage bottles, but my son is now eating at least 4oz at a feeding, sometimes more, so to get a full feeding into one bottle I'll probably opt to purchase more of the Lansinoh bottles instead.
Nice system August 13, 2008 Philter (upstate NY) I really like the design of this system. It keeps the bottles very organized and tidy. I use them w/ a Medela electric pump and they adapt perfectly....no fit problem whatsoever. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is the plastic lid inserts warped a little bit when I sterilized them. They can still fit in the mouth of the bottle, but I have to really play with them....other than that - great system! Note: my bottles arrived with white lids, not the pink as pictured. Not a huge issue, but it surprised me nonetheless.
Great for moms who pump! May 18, 2008 Kristin Little (somewhere in the Dewey Decimal system) I knew I would be pumping when I went back to work, but ended up needing to pump way before that, as my little one had a really hard time nursing at first. This product is GREAT! It fits directly onto my Medela Pump-in-Style and the bottles are BPA-free and thin enough that the milk warms quickly in them. The system comes with plugs, but I only used them on the bottles I put in the freezer. The lids are fine for preventing leaks as long as you screw them on tightly. You can feed straight from the bottle, which is really nice (use a standard nipple and collar - Evenflo's standard nipple is what we use), or you can pour it into a larger bottle if your little one eats more than 4 oz. at a time. (We like the nipple/venting system on the Born Free bottles Born Free 5oz. Wide Neck- Twin Pack, so we pour into those bottles at home, but take a regular nipple and collar with us when we go out.) I wish you could buy lids and labels separately, but not a huge deal. I recommend this to any breastfeeding mother who thinks they might want to pump. FANTASTIC product!
Great item, great price May 8, 2008 J. Kimlinger These bottles work really well with my medela harmony pump. The kit comes with everything you need to store pumped milk safely and efficiently. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a good deal on bottles.
Great for storage, and the bottles fit Medela pumps. May 5, 2008 S. Morgan (Bowdoinham, ME United States) This is a great idea for storing breastmilk in the freezer. We have a fairly small freezer, so storage space is at a premium. This rack is handy -- I wish we could fit two of these side by side on our freezer shelf! The first-in-first-out idea is nice, though at the rate we go through milk, it probably doesn't matter that much. It would be perfect if they had larger bottles (around 6 oz) and a slightly larger rack, but overall we are very happy, and plan to buy more of the storage bottles.
