| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description The Pumping FreeTM Kit is designed to provide exceptional convenience for busy mothers, with hands free double pumping. When fastened onto Medela's nursing bras, this unique product allows mothers to connect to a Medela electric breastpump (except the Mini ElectricTM) and pump both breasts simultaneously, leaving both hands completely free. The Pumping Free Kit fits the medela standard breastshields which are included with the Pump In Style, DoubleEase and Lactina breastpump kits. Please note: The Pumping Free Kit is not compatible with the ComfortEase or PersonalFit breastshields, which are ordered separately by some customers as alternatives to the standard breastshields.

Useless August 8, 2008 diasha78 (Staten Island, NY) I did not get enough suction when using this kit. Just a waist of money in my opinion.
Ridiculous design January 4, 2008 Maria Eriksson (New Jersey) I bought this kit because I thought it would be easier than using the Easy Exressions halter (which works great by the way). The halter pulls over your head and you have to remove your shirt to put it on (I didn't know that they made a zip-up bustier!) Unfortunately fiddling with rubber bands and hooks on the Medela Pumping Free kit takes more time than removing your shirt and pulling the halter over your head. Then when you finally get the things attached they don't sit right and you have to fiddle with them during the whole pumping session anyway. Who has time for that?
Only works with 1 style of medela bra? July 11, 2007 Molecular Mom Michelle (SF Bay area) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I was so excited to pump hands free - but close inspection of the box revealed that it only works with Beautiful Beginnings style bra - BOGUS! You need a bunch of loops in your bra, and none of my other Medela bras or otherwise have them - make sure you have the right bra FIRST!
Functional - just June 15, 2007 Jo Wright (Los Angeles, CA, USA) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
This is decidedly low-tech, and barely functional. There are many restrictions on its use too - only works with certain Medela nursing bras, and barely works with the larger breastshields (27mm or 30mm). It feels extremely wobbly, and sometimes you have to mess around with the elastic bands to get a good seal. Also, you will need to keep detaching and re-attaching the two lower rubber bands in order to wash your nursing bra, or if you have multiple medela bras you use. Its a lot of hassle, and I would suggest buying the Easy Expression Bustier Hands-free Pumping Bra - Medium instead. It works with any bra, any size breastshields, no fiddling with rubber bands, and it works perfectly every time. Since I bought the bustier I haven't touched this ridiculous kit.
Hands-free kit May 16, 2007 K. Collins 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Too much trouble! Maybe I just have baby brain but the whole thing just seemed too complicated. If you have to pump often or for long periods of time, it may still be worth it to you. If you only pump once or twice a day, don't bother.
