So handy March 11, 2008 J. Reid I use the one step storage with my medela in style pump and it works perfectly and it's makes it so easy to transfer from stored milk into a ready to eat bottle I would highly recommend! Like others mentioned though if you have a double pump you must buy 2 of these kits!
These work Good!!! November 7, 2007 Lindzee (California) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I used all of the playtex system for breastfeeding and storing and this was another great product.
easy to use but flawed idea November 7, 2007 Amy (PA USA) I have this set and although it's easy to use with my Medela pumps (electric and manual), I rarely use it unless all my bottles are full, because you can't see the top of the bag to know when to safely stop pumping without overfilling. Thus I can't pump as much in one session as I do with storage bottles, unless I stop and change out the bag. You end up only filling each one 2/3-3/4 full and use up more bags this way. I do love the drop-ins system and that's what I use to feed baby when I'm away from her, but I pump into bottles, not into this set.
playtex storage system October 30, 2007 NolansMom (Central, PA USA) Great product. i wish you coudl buy the seals seperately, and buy this in a bigger package b/c now im going to buy another set. but great product!
Works well for occassional pumping October 4, 2007 S. Rapier 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this because I have the Playtex Premium Nurser Bottle set but needed the pump adapter (for my Madela pump)and the sealing disks (which aren't sold with that set). I only pump occassionally so this works well. I use this set to pump and store if I know I will need to just refrigerate the milk for a day or two. If I store milk for longer in the freezer I use bags. My only complaint about this is that it is not possible to put the sealing disk and the nipple in the bottle at the same time (like Medela bottles). This is annoying when I take a bottle with me (and this is mostly why I use it). It is not a big deal, I bring the nipple along in a zip lock bag, but it is something that seems like it could be easily fixed. Overall though this has been very helpful for the occassional pumping that I do in order to leave baby with grandparents, bring a bottle to a public place where I won't feel comfortable nursing (which isn't often), or just have the flexibility of letting my husband do a feeding every now and then.
