Amazon.com Product Description
If you're looking to improve your overall health and well being during your pregnancy and while you're nursing, then the soy-based Angel Milk Chocolate Decadence shake mix will be a welcome addition to your daily diet. The physical changes in a pregnant and nursing woman's body requires her to consume up to 500 more calories a day than the average person. Plus, it has been shown time and time again that staying well-hydrated during pregnancy and nursing is one of the healthiest things a mother can do for herself and her baby.

Angel Milk provides a healthy and delicious beverage that is specially formulated for pregnant and nursing women.
Angel Milk can help you keep up your caloric intake, while encouraging hydration. This heavenly flavored nutritional shake is specially formulated for pregnant and nursing mothers. It is fortified with vitamins A, B, C, D, E and K, folic acid, and blended with important minerals like calcium, iron and magnesium. This delicious mix is high in protein and low in sugar, so you know you're not ingesting undesirable high-carbohydrate, sugary calories. Best of all, the makers of Angel Milk have added herbal extracts like chamomile, dandelion, ginger and marshmallow root to nourish you and your baby. Angel Milk truly is formulated with motherhood in mind. Just take a gander at all these nutritional benefits and interesting facts:

There are many benefits to drinking Angel Milk. It is an all-natural, chemical-free, delicious way to stay healthy while you're pregnant and nursing. Each serving contains six grams of protein, 16 essential vitamins and minerals, inulin, and is fortified with nourishing herbal extracts. What is inulin? This naturally occurring element is found in edible plants and fruits. It promotes good digestive health by helping create a "friendly bacteria" environment in the mother's digestive tract. Another great addition found in every scoop of Angel Milk is the proprietary Herbal Blend. Herbal extracts have been used for hundreds of years by women during pregnancy and breast-feeding, and Angel Milk has created a special blend of herbs to help nourish mothers during this special time. Angel Milk recommends up to six eight-ounce servings a day, and, although specially formulated for pregnant and nursing mothers, this mix can safely be consumed by anyone. It is also important to note that Angel Milk is an enhancement to your daily vitamin and overall health routine, and it is not intended to replace prenatal vitamins or be used as a meal replacement.

5 out of 5 stars Best flavor in the line...   September 18, 2008
JNV (Los Angeles, CA USA)
Chocolate decadence is the best tasting out of the entire Angel Milk line. I've tasted the Strawberry and Latte and Latte is pretty good too. I pretty much lived off this shake during pregnancy and am still drinking this now that I'm breast feeding. Tastes great!

4 out of 5 stars best tasting nutrition powder I've had   April 20, 2008
Elizabeth Davis (Pacifica, CA)
This has great taste and texture. I suggest you add some powdered nf dry milk to it in order to up the protein content, which is not very high. Great way to ensure your calories and micronutrients while pregnant and/or breastfeeding. It is a bit expensive, but you pay for that non-chalky, great tasting, result.

5 out of 5 stars Not just for mothers-to-be   April 17, 2008
S. Callanen (Ocean View, DE)
Angel Milk Soy-Based Chocolate Decadence Shake Mix, 14-Ounce Can was selected to nutritionally supplement my 5-6 small meals a day required post operatively. The nutritional contents were submitted to a nutritional therapist who could find no reason for me not to partake. I had to mix 1/2 cup quantity wise initially; but found it delicious & easily digestible. I'll be reordering soon.

This shake tastes absolutely wonderful. Really satisfies that chocolate craving without any guilt. It feels great to know that I'm consuming something nutritional for myself and my baby. It's a plus that my sweet-tooth is being tamed at the same time.
