Amazon.com Product Reviews
The Basic Comfort contoured changing pad superbly marries comfort, utility, and value. Given the variance in price of changing pads, you will be pleased to have all the features and function of even the most expensive changing pad at a fraction of the cost. Baby Comfort's philosophy is creating win-win scenarios--by continuously searching for ways to improve quality while lowering prices.
| The changing pad is made of durable, comfort foam that feels both substantial and soft. The foam is covered by a quilted vinyl layer that is moisture and stain resistant--an obvious necessity in changing pads--but when put to the test, the contoured changing pad beaded moisture and wiped clean with a pass of a cloth. This makes cleaning and disinfecting a snap. | | Easily attach the Baby Comfort Ultra Plush changing pad cover. | The three-inch beveled sides keep baby in a comfortable and compliant position while changing a diaper. The security strap buckles over the torso to keep baby from rolling and affords peace of mind when turning to grab some wipes. The pad is standard-sized--it generally fits most changing tables, or it can be used on any counter or surface. For stationary use, the changing pad can be screwed to the wall, or take advantage of the non-slipping bottom for use on any surface. The no-skid bottom works exactly as advertised. The contoured changing pad is large enough to accommodate baby until she is a toddler (birth to 24 months). The standard sizing of the pad also means that most generic changing pad covers fit, or you can extend the life of this pad with the Baby Comfort ultra plush changing pad covers (not included). The Velboa fabric--you know, the soft, almost-fur like synthetic fabric that is machine-washable--of the Basic Comfort changing pad covers is also stain resistant, and the covers fit this changing pad like a glove. The Basic Comfort contoured changing pad is designed especially for baby, and parents couldn't be any happier. --Scott Teal

simple and effective October 25, 2008 comfortablynumb (Yucaipa, Ca) I bought this product because I did not like the one they had at Babies R Us, which received terrible reviews that it stripped the dresser after being placed on it for any amount of time. Needless to say I have not had that problem at all with this one. It is very soft and cushiony, and the Boppy covers fit it perfectly. I am very pleased with the product and the price!
PERFECT October 24, 2008 Ashley V. Crall My son is very wiggly and this product is exactly what I needed. Its very soft so he is comfortable. Its a great product and even better is the price.
great changing surface October 15, 2008 diane page (new york city) Liked that this changing pad had a "well" so our baby could less-easily roll herself off, although we always keep a hand on her, even when she was supertiny. Holding up well after several months of daily use; looks brand-new. Cushy enough to plop your baby down and not have her feel what's underneath -- which in our case is an IKEA dresser. Throw a Big Dot waterproof cover over this (see reviews for that, does double duty as a mattress pad too) and you're set.
A Must Have! October 13, 2008 Lilyana's Mom (Huntington, IN) I bought this product before my first daughter was born 3 years ago and used it everyday several times a day until she was 2.5. I never used the covers because it was so much easier to keep clean without them. Wipe down with baby wipes as needed and then spray with Lysol once a week to kill any germs. After 2.5 years, it had started cracking a little on the sides. So, I bought a new one for my new baby girl who's 6 months old now. It is working great for her as well. It is nice and cushy with high enough sides to keep her somewhat contained. I also just purchased one for use in our church nursery as well. This is a must have for anyone changing diapers. Great value, easy to clean and sanitize, and lasts for a long time.
Was a gift to someone else September 22, 2008 Nancy (So. Calif.) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Something happened to baby before birth. Am trying to return as never used or opened from shower. Appears real nice but BIG. Measure space. BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU PURCHASE WITH AMAZON. AMAZON SELLS IT, AMAZON TAKES YOUR MONEY. BUT IF YOU NEED TO RETURN IT, YOU CAN GO THROUGH SO MUCH WORK AND TIME AND EFFORTS, ONLY TO HAVE TO PERHAPS MAIL IT WITH PERMISSION TO THE "REAL SELLER" WHICH IS SOMEONE OTHER THAN AMAZON. IT IS REAL HELL TO GO THRU TO RETURN SOME ITEMS. I will never do it again, stick with the books. Nancy in California
