Cute and Safe! November 10, 2008 S. Bastien (Bellevue, WA) First time bottle-feeding due to low milk supply, was nervous but our son latched onto this bottle with no problems. Happy to know that the materials used in this bpa-free bottle are safe for our baby! Super cute bottle too, and I like the minimal, recyclable packaging. Arrived quickly.
Green to Grow is good to go! July 15, 2008 kevin d. (Albany, NY United States) We bought a pair of these bottles and are very happy with them (and so is our baby). They aren't cheap, but they are comparable in price to other BPA-free options (Born Free and thinkbaby). These regular neck bottles also fit standard breast pumps, and we're able to interchange the Evenflo nipples we already had. I also appreciate the simple design (not a lot of parts), but if you prefer sophisticated venting (for colicky babies) then you might prefer Born Free bottles.
My experience with this bottle July 14, 2008 F.A 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Well, this is a great bottle, as it is BPA-free and Phthalate-Free, also got a cute look, HOWERVER, I gave it 3 stars because of the nipple. Green to grow's nipples are horrible. They are really hard.... My 4 months daughter had a hard time sucking from it, and she gets tired feeding quickly. I really watched her having hard time sucking this hard rubber ending up chewing instead! Maybe for older babies its fine, but ya...its not good for the baby soft gum too. But the good news is, I could replace their nipple with Medela nipple, which is very soft and also toxic free. They are wonderful. I also used pigeon nipples. All in all, I like these bottles and I'm going to order more, but not the nipples of course.
Great Bottles! July 10, 2008 Holly Schorz (southern california) Purchased these after the BPA news was brought to my attention. Had a ton of Evenflo Comfi bottles and was concerned about the switch since my daughter rejected four other bottles and nipples before evenflo. I am happy to report that the Evenflo nipples fit this bottle perfectly! Never tried the nipple that came with this bottle but wanted others to know the evenflo nipples work, too! Love the bottles (not the price) but worth it to avoid the chemicals!
They work! June 20, 2008 K. Krembs (Seattle, WA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We had been using the Dr. Brown bottles for months but with the whole BPA thing we tried the Born Free bottles and our daughter would rather starve than drink from them. It was a mess. So, now we have a Green to Grow bottle. She like this one much better. And, the nice thing is the entire Dr. Brown vent system (middle insert, screw cap and nipple) will fit onto the regular neck 10 oz G2G bottle!!! We have been using the Dr. Brown vent system with the G@G bottle and nipple and it has worked great. I haven't given this a thorough leak testing on an outing in the diaper bag yet so beware if you try this but it works great at home. Now the only thing I need to find out is if the middle insert for the Dr. Brown bottles have BPA or any other nasties in it that we should be avoiding. I would have given G2G 5 stars but they are really expensive which is a con for us.
