good set October 7, 2008 C. Shaham (Westchester, NY) This set has a lot of stuff- 3 standard 8oz bottles, 1 4oz standard (note the standards have BPA, which is NOT harmful to babys, but in the store you can get Dr Browns bottles that are BPA-free), a cleaning brush, tongs, nipples, and the sterilizer, of course. Way worth the money- sterilizes the bottle quickly and very easily. I reccomend getting this with the Dr Brown drying rack, though, as the bottles come out hot & wet. Also, the brush is a little crappy (the handle broke quickly on mine, although it did clean well). The Dr Brown's bottles are great at reducing air-they were reccomended to me by a swallow therapist at the hopsital I work out.
Unsatified - oh yes! September 23, 2008 Margarita Arzu (Miami, FL United States) Hello, I bought the Dr. Brown's bottles because everybody recommended them, for possible colic or gas. . . they're just great! EVERYBODY SAID. But nobody comments on the constant spilling (I actually have to make the formula with a cloth or bib around the neck of the bottle) because when you open the cap I have to be ready of a lot of milk coming out and you can NEVER leave the bottles upside down or sideways = SPILLING FOR SURE!! Also these bottles are hard to clean and maintain, if you don't dry well the inside parts by the second day they get mold!!!! And also the caps don't fit well in every bottle as the Avent bottles. So I only recommend these bottles if your baby has colic problem, otherwise use AVENT PLEASE!!!
More than a wonderful product August 3, 2008 Ahmad Hussain Ashkanani (kuwait) More than a wonderful product, and strongly recommend its use Because it is a wonderful product, has my child get rid of the annoying theme gases.
Warning! Dr Browns Bottles Are Made Using BPA Bisphenol-A. April 9, 2008 Mommy of 3 Princesses 9 out of 14 found this review helpful
I liked Dr Browns Bottles, my daughter Liked them too! Then I found out about Bisphenol -A being used to make the Bottles. After re-searching Bisphenol -A, I discovered that exposing my baby to harmful chemicals with the potential for long term affects later in life, was definitely not for me!! There are other options out there, all glass bottles are safe, as well as Born Free, Mam by Sassy, Green to Grow and Adrini. Do your own research. I'm really surprised the non Bisphenol -A Free bottles haven't been recalled yet! I'm sure it's just a matter of time, before enough people are educated.
Not what I expected April 7, 2008 AJ's Mama (Westminster, SC) This is not exactly what I excpected. Our formula is somewhat greasy and this still leaves a film on the bottles if I do not clean them ahead of time. I still use it as an added measure.
