Unique Lunch Box November 17, 2008 L. McPartland (Boston, MA USA) Very cute design. Smaller size is better for younger childrens' lunches. Can be a little awkward to zip closed (I don't think my 3 1/2 year old could zip it closed by himself), but children 5 and up should be able to close it. Because it's a soft material, it won't take up much space after the food is removed (as opposed to hard sided lunch boxes). Really unique and interesting find. Should be durable enough to last a while.
very cute and portable November 2, 2008 N. Albanese-levin (New York, N.Y.) it was hard choosing between the different animals. and a great price too! it is lighter than traditional insulating boxes, so that's nice. and it has a cool zipper thing so it can store flat when not in use. much better than the whole stack of thermal lunchboxes and coolers i have in the baement. i would say that it holds about a day's worth of food/snacks for one small child, not too much more. but i really like it.
Cute - perfect for small lunch September 23, 2008 Leo I bought this to use for my kid's daily school snack. I was looking for something small and unique. It is big enough to hold a kid's lunch but is a little smaller than a typical lunch bag. I also like how it opens up to form a placemat. The dog design is also very cute.
NOT #7!! September 18, 2008 H. Abenoja (Honolulu, HI) Just an FYI--This lunchbag is NOT polycarbonate, #7 plastics, as a previous reviewer said! This lunchbag is polypropylene (#5) so it is BPA free and safe to use. So go ahead and buy it!
Cutre but not very functional September 1, 2008 A. David Yes, this product is very cute - it's a great idea. However - I dont think it was designed very well. I purchased this for my daughter to bring school lunches, she is 8. There isn't enough room to fit a full lunch for a child - sandwich, drink, 2 snacks. There isnt much of a strap to hold onto for her to carry it - making it cumbersome. The unzipping of it kind of makes it so you have to jimmy it around quite a bit, forcing the food inside the bag to be thrown around. It's hard for her to re-zip when she is done eating. All in all - she isnt crazy about this lunch bag and I wouldnt recommend it to other parents. Great idea but doesnt fit the bill.
