Evenflo Nipples November 29, 2008 C. S. Gogea (Chicago) I am a first time mom and I am happy with my purchase. The only two things that I have found is from time to time I have had to take the bottle out of my daughter's mouth due to the nipple going flat as she is sucking, I just pull it out of her mouth and let it inflate again and stick it back in her mouth. I suppose to some people this would bother them. The one thing that did bother me was I ordered slow and medium nipples maybe I should have paid more attention but the nipples that we used before marked the nipples so you could tell what speed they were and I guess being a first time mom, I assumed they all did. So I just opened the packages took the nipples out and put them in a pot of water to boil them for the sanitation purposes by the time they came out, I no longer knew the slow from the medium, I looked all over the nipples for any kind of markings and even went to the evenflo website thinking maybe that I was just overlooking it. I was worried that this might bother my daughter but it never did. I am very happy with my purchase and would do it all over again, I only gave it four stars due to the fact that the two things I mentioned might bother others more than it did me and I wanted to give a fair honest review.
Great replacement for Avent October 24, 2008 Jamey M. Reddicks (Bridgewater, MA) I bought these nipples to go along with new Evenflo bottles I had bought to replace a set of Avent ones. The Avent ones leak all over the place. These Evenflo nipples (and bottles) are far better and far cheaper!
Great price, work well September 2, 2008 Aidan's Mommy (Monroe, LA) Evenflo nipples (and bottles) are BPA-free. Unlike other brands which can be very costly($19 per bottle), Evenflo bottles and nipples are a great price and work well. We've used the slow and medium flow nipples and have not had any trouble. In fact, I bought extra slow flow nipples thinking that I would have to replace some of them as my son used them, but they are still brand new in the package.
flows good but gets stuck June 9, 2008 My Tran (Denver, CO) I used this with the glass bottles after the thing about BPA in plastic surface again. I really dont like it. It flows well for mediem nipples but it get stuck all the time. So when my son is sucking while he is trying to sleep, it get stuck, and I have to pull it out to let the air come in. He doesnt like it sometimes so when I pull the nipple out to let the air in, he stops drinking. If your baby doesnt like drinking half asleep, then its a good nipple.
What can I say? May 21, 2008 B. Hughes (Canada) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I haven't used them yet, as the baby doesn't come for another 8 weeks. However, I ordered these with the BPA-free glass bottles which seems to be the cheapest way to go these days. (the plastic BPA-free are very pricey!) My only disappointment, was the fact that these were shipped seprately from the bottles, costing me that much more to pick them up. I had specifically requested "as few shipments as possible".
