Product Description Bringing the hospital distributed Soothies Brand to bottles! Same nipple shape and feel as the 2.5 million hospital-distributed Soothie Pacifiers for easier transitioning for baby. Medical-grade silicone. Cover snaps on to bottle base so it doesn't get lost on the go. Bottle features a medium/fast flow. Soothies is a brand recognized by moms as trusted by hospitals, and we have used the same medical-grade silicone as the pacifiers. Home-use testing has shown us that 75% of moms were able to successfully transition baby from breast to the Soothie Bottle System, and all believed that it was because the bottle had the same shape and feel as the pacifier, making it easy for baby. 80% of moms reported that their baby took the bottle on the first or second try! Works great with no leaks! November 4, 2008 Melissa LeVesque (Rochester, NY) We used Playtex VentAires for our first baby, and they leaked all the time. I was so sick of cleaning 6 pieces to each bottle every time, and no matter what we did she was gassy. We bought these for the second baby because I liked that there were fewer pieces to clean. After 7 months of use, we still have had not even one leak! They are definitely easy to clean, and we've had none of the gassiness (granted, our second baby may have been just not as prone to gas as the first.) Neither one had any confusion switching from nursing to bottles either, but for ease, I would certainly recommend these over the ventaires!
Soothie Nipples and Bottles July 27, 2008 Monique M. Bluvas (grass valley, ca) We had a hard time getting Aonghas (Angus) to take a bottle. He is a breastfed baby who was starting daycare 2 days a week, so we had to do something. We tried a lot of other brands before my friend said "you know that pacifier that all our babies are crazy about...well that company makes a bottle with a nipple that is shaped like that pacifier". And...after a few weeks of thinking I had to reconfigure my life AGAIN, he took the bottle the first day we got it...yayayayayay
Great Bottles! July 4, 2008 Jessica Marie Soares (provincetown, ma) These are great. My 5 wk old daughter wasnt doing to well with the breast flow bottles...it took her forever to finish her milk. We decided to try these and she is noticably happier and more comfortable while drinking. These are a great buy...only $8 at Target!
Top Notch Bottles March 14, 2008 M. Crespo (Orlando, FL United States) My daughter was being breastfed and given a bottle supplement since day 1 due to her low birth weight. She got use to the disposable nipples and bottles the hospital gave us but ofcourse I wanted to switch her up to regular bottles. My lactation consultant suggested the Breastflow also from first years because they simulate breastfeeding but she did not take to these bottles. They would drip all over her face and on her clothes and she would scream bloody murder everytime my husband would try to give her the bottle for her once a day bottle feed. We switched to Avent and once again my daugher screamed everytime we tried to feed her. Since she likes the soothie pacifier I found these at Wal-Mart and decided to try them. My daughter LOVES these bottles and I don't seem to have the leaking problem like others do. Also these bottles are a breeze to clean. These bottles are great. Wal-Mart also sells them with Winnie the Pooh characters on them. Very cute!
These bottles suck December 13, 2007 Lindsey K. Davis 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
Do not waste your money! These bottles will leave you with your bundle of joy up all night SCREAMING in tummy pain. These bottles are the worst ever!!! I bought the entire set and they all ended up in the trash. The only "good" thing about them are the cups that store formula, so those were the only things I kept. I replaced them with Dr. Browns which I would give 5 stars.
