5 out of 5 stars BPA FREE   December 2, 2008
SafeMommy
Initially I was not going to buy this product because it says "FDA approved plastic," and anyone who's up-to-date on the news knows that the FDA says that BPA is just fine, even though it is NOT. But then I went to the Fresh Baby web site, and on the manufacturer's website they add, after the FDA approved plastic, that it IS PBA free. So, super. I bought them. Even if the top is imperfect, it's just what I was looking for--ice cube trays that are BPA free.

3 out of 5 stars Versatile ice tray   November 23, 2008
wylev (New York, NY United States)
At the end of the day, this is just a set of versatile ice trays. Great targeted marketing for people who want to freeze their breast milk or baby food.

5 out of 5 stars Nice baby food storage!   November 9, 2008
Jane Maven (WI USA)
These work great for storing baby food. The cubes of baby food come out just like they would in an ice cube tray. The lid is nice for storing, and they stack conveniently in the freezer, minimizing the amount of space the food takes up. The lids sometimes do not stay on all the way, though, which can lead to freezer burnt baby food.

5 out of 5 stars BPA-free, Durable, Good Value   November 3, 2008
Peanut's Mommy (Bay Area, CA)
My title says it all: BPA-free, Durable, Good Value. I use the trays to get perfect 0.5 oz. servings of home-cooked grains and vegetables. This is a fantastic alternative to either cooking small quantities fresh daily (who has time for that with a baby) or constantly feeding liquified sludge from a jar (ew). Don't get me wrong, Earth's best is awesome -- as like a topping to whole grain pasta -- but babies are people, too, and amazingly, they like FOOD! These are great trays. When the food is frozen, you can pop out the cubes and put them in a baggie. The cubes (in a baggie) won't freeze together after being frozen in the trays, and then you can use the trays for more stuff. If you're serious about cooking real food for your baby/toddler, I recommend getting at least 6. I have only enough room for 6 (and that was all I was willing to shell out for food trays), and although I have to put stuff in baggies quite a bit, 6 has been an okay quantity for me. If I had a bigger freezer, I would definitely go for more trays! P.S. I handwash mine. I'm not sure you can put them in dishwasher, but I think the handwashing helps them last!

5 out of 5 stars I LOVE THESE!!!   October 24, 2008
A. Guhl (PA)
These are by far the best baby food tray I've tried. I make all my own baby food because my daughter has so many allergies and even though the cubes are small, it makes them relatively easy to get frozen food out. I will definitely be buying more of these. I only have 6 trays right now and I could use about 4 more. I highly recommend these!
