| Editorial Reviews:
Amazon.com Product Description Seventh Generation Chlorine-Free Diapers offer soft, cloth-like comfort and feature stretchy leg gathers and closure tabs. In addition to keeping baby dry and reducing the risk of diaper rash, the absorbent polymer in these diapers is non-toxic and non-irritating to baby's sensitive skin. All-Natural Natural Comfort for Your Child Seventh Generation Chlorine-Free Diapers are made with your baby and your environment in mind. The chlorine-free materials and absorbent polymers used in the diapers help keep your baby dry in between changes and through the night. In addition to being effective at keeping baby dry and reducing the risk of diaper rash, studies show that the absorbent polymer used in the diapers is non-toxic and non-irritating to baby's sensitive skin. Hypo-allergenic and offering soft, cloth-like comfort and premium absorbency, these diapers are made of chlorine-free absorbent materials that do not contribute to dioxin pollution. They feature super-stretchy resealable closure tabs and super-stretchy leg gathers that work to provide your baby with a comfortable, safe, close-fitting thin diaper. Why Does Chlorine-Free Matter? Your choice of our chlorine free diapers could help reduce cancer rates. Your choice of chlorine-free diapers helps reduce the amount of dioxin polluting our air, water and soil, and helps make the world a safer, healthier place for your family and generations to come. When chlorine and chlorine derivatives are used in industrial processes (such as bleaching paper and wood pulp), they produce substances called chlorinated hydrocarbons, which persist in the environment, accumulate in animals and people, and can be toxic to human and environmental health. The production of chlorine can also release the toxic metal mercury into the environment. If every household in the U.S. replaced just one 40-count package of conventional diapers with these chlorine-free diapers, we could avoid 133,000 pounds of pollution from entering the environment. About Seventh Generation Seventh Generation offers a complete line of natural household products designed to work as well as their traditional counterparts, but use renewable, non-toxic, and phosphate-free ingredients as often as possible, and are never tested on animals. Seventh Generation products are healthy and safe for the air, the surfaces, the pets, and the people in your home--and for the environment outside of it. Every time you use Seventh Generation products you make a difference by saving natural resources, keeping toxic chemicals out of the environment, and making the world a safer place for this and the next seven generations.

Great diapers that are a little better for the environment October 13, 2008 K. Pope These diapers fit my baby as well as huggies supreme and work as well. They are a bit "ugly" as they are brown, but who really cares if diapers are ugly?
Seventh Generation Diapers October 13, 2008 B. GOERTZEN I bought the Size Four Diapers. They do fit on the small side, if you compare them to "mainstream" disposable diapers. I use cloth diapers for my children as much as possible and then use Seventh Generation Diapers for overnights. They do hold a lot ... even for my heavy-wetter son. I find I don't need to change in the middle of the night. Nice elastic around the legs and waist. No chlorine, color or chemicals ... awesome.
I love these diapers!! October 13, 2008 M. Creswell These diapers are so soft and such a great deal on amazon. I love what the company stands for too!!! You will love them!!
like them October 13, 2008 ssss I love these diapers. I will admit I occasionally have leaks, usually at night, but occasionally during the day. Still worth not having the extra chemicals next to a baby's absorbent skin...
Not Biodegradable - Even After 500 Years! October 11, 2008 The Investor (Seattle, WA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've noticed a few reviewers mention, that Seventh Generation diapers are biodegradable. They're not. They are as stated free of cancer contributing (causing) chlorine. They take more than 500 years to breakdown in landfill sites. However Seventh Generation diapers are completely disposable, compared with gDiapers (available at diapers.com and other retail outlets) which only the soiled section is NOT ONLY disposable, but it is flushable, compost-able, and it biodegrades within 60 days. gDiapers has a few videos on their website which explain the differences between the two disposable brands of diapers. Overall, both work well, and are very convenient to take outside of your home.
