Good coverage, no leaks, but what for the velcro September 10, 2007 P. Bartell (Boulder, CO United States) Easy to clean and these don't seem to stain if they are well rinsed. Be careful attaching the velcro though; if you aren't careful the tab edges rub on baby's leg. Ouch! It would be nice if the tabs weren't as sharp edged, or were sewn to cover the edges. That would undoubtedly increase the price.
soft and dependable August 25, 2007 L. Steen (Yorba Linda, CA) I purchased a variety of covers when my daughter was born and any Imse Vimse cover has been wonderful! The Soft Cloth covers don't have the greatest velcro, after many washes/uses the tabs start to roll, but the Day covers and Organic covers have a more secure velcro. These soft covers are thinner though, which is great for fitting under clothes. The leg gathers are wonderful too, especially if your baby has chubby thighs. By far the best diaper cover for the price!!!!
Good diaper cover, not perfect July 7, 2007 K. Mauro (Tucson, AZ United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The Imse Vimse covers are nice in that they are roomy enough for a fitted diaper, fit well around the waist & legs and will contain even big messes. They also hold up well in the wash; I've put them in the same sanitizing cycle as the diapers and dried them both on the line and in the dryer with good results. Their lightweight construction helps them to dry very quickly, too. The seams are smooth, nothing to scratch your diaperee's skin, and the cover is available in several styles & prints. However: the lack of laundry tabs on the fastening sides mean that you either need to re-fasten the soiled cover when placing it into the laundry pail (kind of a pain as this might require both hands), or deal with the resulting "laundry snake" when the loose hook & loop fasteners snag other items in the wash. Additionally, these come in separate sizes rather than incorporating the "growth snaps" used by some other brands; this means that you will need to purchase more than one set of covers as your diaperee grows.
Good diaper cover for the price February 14, 2007 Karen Green Keeps clothes dry, holds in everything. Breathable & affordable. Easily washable as well.
