I had been searching long and hard for a diaper bag. I bought a diaper bag from Lands End five years ago for the birth of my daughter and when I brought it out for the birth of my son, the zippers handles broke off and the changing pad was cracked and unusable. I wanted a new bag and after a long search on the internet, I decided on the Ju Ju Be Between bag and went to a store in town to look at it. It looked great except it was too small to fit all the things I needed to carry so I looked on the shelf and found the Be Prepared. I loved the size of the changing pad, I liked how the bag felt and it really felt well made and not cheap. I did not want a messenger type bag and loved the magnet closures instead of velcro.
Upon use of this bag for two weeks, I still love it, but it's a lot better for all day shopping trips to the mall and a day at the park. I pack extra diapers, nursing cover, sling, extra clothes, two bottles, a pack of Kirkland wipes, burp clothes... with room for more.
The mommy pocket is wonderful because I could use some help with my organizational skills and found that if I put my wallet, keys, sunglasses, cell phone, hand sanitizer, pens, and receipts all in the same place, I'm not digging around looking for them.
I also like how the middle section can be left open so when it's hanging on the stroller, I can reach in easily without unzipping anything.
The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because of the size. I wish it were just a little smaller so I could use it everyday all the time even for short trips.
Well worth the price. Love this product.
