| Customer Reviews:
I've been using this bag for 2 years + August 23, 2008 modern mommy (Los Angeles, CA) After 2 1/2 years of using this bag, I have to admit, it looks just like the day I bought it! :) The bag is made from a a thick plastic covered fabric. I was afraid that the plastic would scratch up, it never did. I was afraid the plastic might rip on the bottom, it never did. I was afraid the plastic would yellow... it hasn't yet. We are pretty darn hard on this bag too. I usually place it on the floor when we go to restaurants, it gets banged around a lot, my kid drags it around the house (alot) and I always throw the shoulder strap over my stroller bars while shopping, it hasn't damages it at all. I love all the deep pockets. We keep a batch of toys, diapers, wipes, clothes, colorbook, bib, bowl, spoons, sippy cup and wallet, keys, and aspirin (for me), everything in it. It holds a lot! The side pockets are large too, and each can hold a blackberry phone plus more. I usually stash my own stuff in the side pockets. My only tiny issues with it: 1. The shoulder strap is a grippy wide strap, for comfort I'm sure. I would have preferred a thinner strap so it wouldn't slip off my shoulder and I would have preferred if it pivoted, on a ring like the Fleurville Lexie Tote. 2. There are so fun color choices now, I would have picked another color or pattern. Fyi, the blue chocolate color is a little lighter than in this picture. 3. The insulated bottle holder that came with it, was huge, and took up a lot of space, we don't use it at all. Overall, a very good purchase, I don't doubt it will last forever.
It's huge and lightweight February 17, 2006 Heather Arcand (Thermopolis, WY) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
What a combination, this bag holds everything and still feels very balanced and lightweight. I also have the sling tote, which is a smaller version -- I love them both. In this bag we have a change of clothes, comprehensive first aid kit, 8 diapers, 2 recieving blankets, plus the dirty sack changing pad and wipes box that comes with the bag. We have 3 toys, my purse (I use a slim small wallet type purse) a hat, bib, and socks in the outer pockets, and there is still room plus an unused bottle holder that we keep in the bag. The outer surface looks great and feels really cool, it is vinyl covering over fabric and the 2 seem to move independent of each other- very stylish and fun. The lining is dark brown, but I still can see everything in the bag. I can't say enough about the excellent design of this bag that stands up when you set it down and feels like it weighs less than the items we have in it. This is one of the best purchases we made for our baby, which is why we bought both styles. They are both GREAT!!!
