Keep looking! February 4, 2005 Sandelle Kincaid (Los Angeles) I wanted a changing table that was more enclosed than most and that stood higher, as both of us are tall. What wasn't clear is how much smaller the changing area is than most. A standard changing pad (16x20) does not fit on it, and you NEED a pad, as the lip is VERY VERY small as well as sharp. Baby can easily roll off this if unmodified as well as bump his head on the lip. We wound up strapping a curved pad on the top and using the changing pad cover to help anchor it. Other big problem: it arrived without the entire back piece, which is what stablizes it and makes it usable. It is now 3 weeks later and still the part has not arrived. I'm 38 weeks and want this taken care of! Granted, they have 7-day customer service, but as my husband said, why not get it right to start with? The part is on back order and was probably not packed because it wasn't in. Unacceptable! Only good points: the drawers are good quality and work smoothly. Not bad looking, except the top is funky now with the improvised changing pad. And we'll be able to use it later as a bureau IF THE BACK PIECE EVER ARRIVES!
buy it at TARGET! September 30, 2004 Heather Rick (Michigan) I looked at both of these websites before I purchased this item and it was still cheaper for me to order it from Target since they offer free shipping. I guess if you had a Burlington near you it could be worth your wile but these 2 changing tables are not the same. The one from Target is bigger and longer which I preffer the length vs. the price. It's a good table none the less and I highly recomend spending the money, it's like a dressor and a changing table in one.
Buy it at Burlington! September 23, 2004 I just bought this changing table and absolutely love it. I especially like that it's a little taller than most of the changing tables on the market, which makes it a much more comfortable height at which to change baby. I'm only 5'4'' and most of the other ones would have required me to stoop to change the baby. This is much easier on my back. I also like the drawers that keep extra supplies out of sight. The only caution I will give is not to buy it at Target (sorry!). Baby Depot at Burlington Coat Factory carries it and their regular price is only $99.99. What a difference!
