Great Until Baby Starts Moving October 2, 2008 April S. (Atlanta, GA) I really like the Safe Lift Deluxe. I bought it for both of my daughters. It is great at helping to reduce reflux because it keeps them elevated...that is until they start to move a lot. Once they start wiggling around, they slide down the lift in a matter of minutes. However, I still use them. My 2 year old still has one in her crib...it is her pillow. My 4 month old has one in her crib and one in her pack-n-play. The only thing I don't like about this new version is that you have to insert the foam lift into the cover. The zipper on the cover is not very strong and if you don't insert the lift just right, the zipper will tear away from the cover. The first 2 that I bought came inside the cover without a zipper.
Great for Tummy Time June 30, 2008 T. Baker (SF, CA) This product is great for tummy time and as a crib wedge. Ours came in one piece, as described. With our 4.5lb preemie, we threw a blanket over the wedge and used it for tummy time. This really helped her strengthen her neck better than just laying on the floor. Then, we used it to 'help' her roll over. This gave her momentum and cushioned the landing for her head. We now use as a wedge in her crib.
Horrible! February 21, 2008 Luz (New Orleans, La) I purchased this product and wish I had paid attention to the one negative review it received. This wedge comes in two pieces and it does have a zipper down the middle. The zipper, although on the back, still pokes out and can harm a child. This is so poorly made I am shocked they try to sell it! Moms out there, please beware when purchasing this exact product!

We first got one of these to help with reflux. It worked wonderfully! With our next newborn, we were told to use this for the baby to sleep on when congested. Works like a charm. Not sure what another poster was talking about with a zipper. We have these in every baby bed and none have a zipper, all are one piece of foam enclosed in vinyl with non-skid backing (just like the product description tells you).
Highly Reccommend April 10, 2007 R. Leischker (New Jersey) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Bought this about a month ago for my Baby Girl. She is 5 months old now and doing much better sleeping with this product. I also feel more comfortable knowing she is elevated slightly at night time. This product does exactly what it says it does. Worth every penny! Mr. Mom.
