Baby Shower Gift June 27, 2007 DaniJune (Austin, TX) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
I purchased this as a gift for a baby shower. So far I haven't heard any complaints from baby or Mommy.
Doesnt fit on our crib November 28, 2006 Hawaiian Built (Seattle, WA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The bumper was very cute and colorful and I was excited to put it on the baby's crib...until I put it on...no matter how I tried to fit it onto the crib (it is a white spindle Jenny Lind crib full-size) it fit very akwardly and never quite right. There were large spaces where it should have fit snugly around the inside of the crib. I was very disappointed since it is very colorful and matches the sheet and comforter we received as gifts.
Just a note about bumpers-for you who don't know January 1, 2005 em (Indiana) 6 out of 10 found this review helpful
Ok just so you guys know, as a student of child development and safety, your child WILL NOT suffocate due to a use of bumper pads. The only reason this has happened is because the parents have not securely positioned their sleeping child and the child rolls over, buries his or her face in the bumper, and suffocates. You should, however, remove the bumpers once your child is able to pull him or her self to a standing position in the crib, since the bumper can be used as a step to climb up and fall out. I hope this puts some of your minds at ease.
Cute but not safe for newborns September 6, 2004 Andrea Matthiesen (Germany, Frankfurt/Main) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I really love these bumper pads and also the quality after washing is very good. the only thing i don´t like is the way the strings work. there are not enough and also they rip off easily. not stitched well for the price. Generally bumper pads are not recommended for babies before age 12 months since the air gets blocked away from the bed, also suffication could be a problem. We have bought a convertable crib (common in Europe) which can be used till approx. age 5 and so we will attach the bumper to the bed later. anyhow we still love it. it looks and matches perfectly to the rest of safari.
First Time Mom...I Love this set!! April 15, 2004 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I searched all over the internet and in the stores for the perfect nursery set for my son that was only a few months away from coming into the world. I finally found this set online last year and just fell in love with it! It was exactly what I wanted for my son's nursery. The little animals on the bumper pad, valances, and hamper are fleece, and they stand out from the material, which adds just a little bit more to the set to make it unique. The little animals combined with the colors just makes a very relaxing and stimulating environment. I love being in my son's room along with all my family and friends. I have gotten so many compliments about his nursery!! I painted his walls the kind of aqua green that is used in the set and then I free-handed and painted four of the animals on the walls. I put the lion above his crib, the elephant and giraffe above his changing table, and the crocodile above his dresser. I have several pictures if anyone would like to see the whole set in a room. You are more than welcome to e-mail me if you would like. (AggieGirl1979@hotmail.com) I just can't say enough about this set...I Love It!!
