Not just for babies anymore! September 14, 2008 G. Machen (Birmingham, AL USA) I bought this product to use in the bathtub for my dogs. I have one older pug and one pug puppy. While the older pug was used to bathtime, as she aged it became more stressful. This gently sprayer was great for reducing her anxiety and getting her all clean. As for the puppy, she was calmer and seemed to actually enjoy it!
Works for me! May 17, 2008 Michael Marsten (San Francisco, CA United States) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I've been using this product for 5 years. I know exactly what the problem is that all the "1 star" reviewers are having. This product is NOT designed to fit over a faucet. It is designed to fit over a SHOWER HEAD. It does NOT fit on a faucet as faucets are not usually round as this products connector is. Mine fits perfectly over the round shower head. The blue rim you see in the picture is actually a clamp that holds the it on. Inside that clamp is a rubber gasket with a round hose to create a non-leak seal. The hose hangs down from the shower head and does NOT COME OFF. The only problem I have with this product is after 2 - 3 YEARS, the rubber gasket in the end wears out and it begins to leak where it connects to the shower head. 2 - 3 years is pretty good for a $10 product. Mine just wore out (for the 2nd time in 5 years) so I am going to buy another.
Horrible product!! January 11, 2008 Luvs Baby Stuff (New York) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I was able to fit this product over both my bath faucet and sink faucet with some effort. However, all the other reviews were correct about it not being able to withstand ANY water pressure whatsoever. I had to turn the water down so low the water didn't spray out, but rather dribbled out, making it completely useless. When I put the water pressure on any stonger, the faucet attachment part sprayed out water, and eventually popped off, making a huge water mess. I tried emailing Sassy about this but they never responded. DON'T WASTE YOUR $$$$$!!!!!!!
A Shower of Praise January 4, 2008 LT (Brainerd, MN) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I had been looking for this all over town, desperately trying to replace our original after it had worn out after nearly five years of use. I was thrilled to find it on Amazon, and chuckled at the thought that "you can't always believe what you read." I have no idea why so many folks seem to have a problem with this. Sure, you have to keep the water pressure down, but think of it as a low-flow, water-saving device. Besides, how strong of a spray do you need to rinse off a baby/toddler/preschooler? As far as fitting it onto a bathtub fixture, just be sure you're using the correct gasket and fitting the cup completely over it. It takes a little "elbow grease" and getting used to, but for me, the fun the kids have and the ease of use I have make it worth it.
waste of money December 11, 2007 G. Guillen 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
i wish i'd read the other reviews before purchasing and opening this item... it appears it doesn't fit ANYONE's faucet. did they test it before they put it on the market? me thinks no... a valuable lesson i've learned. read the reviews first before purchasing something. biggest waste of seven bucks.
