Found Cheaper Price October 29, 2008 Amy L. Dees I haven't used these yet, but I am excited to. I have found the same cups at Baby Bungalow (online) for 4.95. I will purchase them through that site. Just a heads up for all those trying to save a couple bucks! Good luck to all the mommys, daddys, and caregivers out there!
Easy to use, but straw is not durable August 26, 2008 K. Cassidy (Chicago, IL) Speech therapists and dentists recommend avoiding sippy cups, so we chose to buy straw cups instead. Our 11 month old loved these cups and found them easy to hold and drink from. The last ounce in the cup was nearly impossible for him to drink, unfortunately. That would have been fine if not for this cup's other problems. We have two of them. Within a few weeks of daily use, the built-in valve cracked in the center, allowing a lot of milk through at once and making it leak everywhere when dropped or waved around. The second cup suffered the same fate within a week of daily use. This is ridiculous. They are also a total pain to clean and difficult to reassemble.
Not for a novice cup user. July 15, 2008 Dairy Queen (USA) I bought this cup as a 1st sippy cup for my son, then 7 months. He had a lot of trouble learning to suck on the straw b/c of the leak guard. It is very difficult (even for me) to get anything through the straw. Most likely because of the leak guard. He will mostly get water in his cups, so I will be going with a straw cup that doesn't have a leak guard.
Easy To Learn June 22, 2008 M. Patrick (Portland, OR) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We tried several different styles of sippy cups but the rigid sippers were uncomfortable or the soft sippers weren't long enough for our baby so he refused them. These cups have a soft, flip down straw that was easy for our son to master. He loves the handles, and it was fun to watch him discover how to flip closed and open the straw. Plus, whenever it gets dropped, the straw never touches the floor because the bottle is able to keep the straw centered. Being able to close the straw is great for hygiene, too. We've had our three cups for over six months and use one for water and one for milk daily. They have held up through repeated dishwasher cycles (top rack!) We highly recommend them.
