5 out of 5 stars Beautiful and sturdy   August 31, 2008
Mom2Trey (Roswell, GA United States)
Wow. This gate is beautiful - a nice change from many of the plastic baby gates - and very sturdy. Trey can pull himself up on it, headbutt it, etc., and it doesn't budge. I just wish it were a little taller, so I didn't have to lean over so much to release the gate.

5 out of 5 stars Great Gate   August 29, 2008
I. Garcia (New Windsor, NY)
I purchased this as a baby gate, and I love it. Not only does it look great, I like the idea that the gate swings both ways and automatically closes behind you. It holds extremely tight with the pressure mounts, which is great because I didn't have to put any holes in the wall. Once the baby outgrows it, it can be left in place because it blends so well with the wood on my banister and rails. This is a really safe and good looking gate.

5 out of 5 stars Many Compliments on This Gate   August 1, 2008
Malukey's Mom (NJ, USA)
Excellent quality for a great price. I receive many compliments on how attractive this gate is (as opposed to the traditional plastic gates). Very good quality and goes well with my wood/iron furniture. Another plus is that the gate closes and locks automatically. It stays put without having to create holes in the wall, however it does leave black marks on the wall once removed. I would definitely recommend this gate!

5 out of 5 stars Simply the very best!   July 2, 2008
Happy Accidents (CT)
After looking at a number of gates to leave up permanently, this is far and away the best looking and the quality is wonderful. The bars are very heavy metal and the closing mechanism works great. They include two extra pieces that can be used to extend the width of the gate. I am using this to confine my dog in the kitchen when I'm away and wanted something that didn't look like the standard baby gate. This fits the bill perfectly. I was so thrilled with the quality of this gate I also wrote the company a letter. Although it's marketed as a baby gate for temporary use, it's even beautiful enough to leave in place permanently as a pet gate.

5 out of 5 stars The perfect "baby gate."   June 28, 2008
Patrick James (Southwest Asia)
I must admit I was a little worried to purchase this gate for safety reasons. My daughter just celebrated her first birthday and is very mobile. She loves to play and loves to get into things. I was concerned that maybe she would try to squeeze through or maybe get her little feet or hands stuck between the rails but there have been zero such events. This is the perfect little gate for such a reasonable price. For the military personnel stationed OCONUS, this gate shipped very fast!! We recieved it within 1 week of purchasing. I recommend this item to anyone looking to keep the little one from wrecking "baby havoc" in your kitchen, living room, or anywhere you have things you don't want scattered.
