Great Compact Car Seat December 29, 2008 Very Picky (Silver Spring, MD) I was researching convertible car seats for almost a month before I chose this car seat. It is as promised, compact and comfortable. The straps are easily adjusted and so far there is no twisting. I took away one star because the instruction booklet is very poorly written. The information is in the booklet, however, a lot of searching is required to find the simplest of information. Furthermore, the seat sits VERY high in the front facing in full recline. I drive a Nissan Xterra, so it is not a matter of the car being too small. Also, and this is simply nitpicking, but I do not know how to attach the cup holder and there is no instruction for that in the booklet. Apart from my idiosyncrasies, I would recommend this seat.
Maddie's Mom November 6, 2008 Saylorkity I love this car seat. I have a Mazda Protege and this seat fits perfectly in the back. My daughter is comfortable (she will sleep for hours in this seat) and the safety ratings are great. The release button on this seat can be a little hard to push, but that is a small complaint and my only one. My daughter is a little big for her age so we have been using this seat since she was about 3 months old, she is now almost nine months and she still has room to grow. I would highly recommend this seat, especially if you have a compact car.
Nice but... March 12, 2008 Boogieboymommy (Oregon, USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
We originally purchased the Britax Marathon but sadly it was way to big to rear face in our compact car. After going back and for the between weather to buy the Priori or another smaller Britax we decided to go with the Priori because of it's fun colors and I guess just to try something new. Now I am pretty much wishing we had gone with the Britax. The Priori is nice and has the latch system which is wonderful but the safety harness twists easily, the crotch pad is tiny and just gets in the way, the buckle is not always easy to latch and getting the cover off to wash is a real pain... I pretty much had to take the whole darn thing apart. On the upside it is a great size for compact cars, the color variety is fun and it has a cup holder to set the sippy cup in. All and all though I wish we had just gone with the smaller Britax (Roundabout or Diplomat).
