See last review! November 23, 2008 K. Ranta (Ft Belvoir, VA) Same thing happened to me as what happened to the previous reviewer! I ordered an infant size and though the package said infant, the item was a premie as it said on the tag, and its obvious size! The quality of the item is nice, but buyer beware of the sizing issue-- now noted by two buyers. Item quality is 4-5 star, sizing is 1 star, making it useless until a properly packaged item/replacement is received.
Great Product, Horrible service October 20, 2008 C. Allan (Olympia, WA) I can't wait until my daughter is old enough to actually use this product. We actually purchased two of them. One in a Newborn size and one in an Infant size. We received a Newborn and Preemie size, which she was born too big to use, so we returned the Preemie, and asked for the Newborn size that we had ordered and received another Infant size. We returned the Infant size and received another Preemie size, returned that Preemie size and finally received a Newborn size, well at least the package said it was. It was another Preemie size inside a Newborn package. And then Amazon said that it wouldn't send another one out and was removing the products from their site, and gave me a refund but they are still on here. So I don't have one that fits my daughter at the moment. Soon enough though she will fit into the Infant size one. I like that it can be used to swaddle her arms inside the bag, outside the bag, or just as a sleep bag. We have found that while our daughter fusses that she is swaddled until she gets her arms out, she won't sleep unless she is.
A MUST HAVE!!! February 27, 2006 Stephanie W. (Houston, TX) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
We swaddled our baby from day 1 and she slept like an ace, 5 hours at 1 week and 11 hours at 8 weeks. The secret is using these Velcro secured blankets in addition to The Happiest Baby on the Block DVD. The author shows exactly how to swaddle for peak effectiveness. This method saved our sanity!!! The baby feels snug and secure, her arms cannot startle her awake during the night, she's a happy camper and mom and dad are definitely happy campers. This is the most important thing that we owned. It is definitely worth the money. Regular blankets do not work as well because they are not secured. Our baby didn't necessarily like being swaddled up at first, she would fuss, but the resulting great, full night of sleep followed. I wholeheartedly recommend buying the swaddling blankets and The Happiest Baby on the Block DVD.
Swaddleaze lives up to its claim January 30, 2006 New Mum 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This product came recommended to me by another Mum. After a few nights of using it I realised why! I used to wrap my baby myself, but always worried in case she was getting overheated. The material in this means my daughter is safe and comfy, and when she gets bigger she can get a larger size. I wish I knew about this when my daughter was born, as she was a preemie and it would have been lovely to have it in her size. I also like the fact that I don't have to worry about her wriggling under the cover or it getting on her face..its just not possible with this. Even with the most wriggly baby (like mine!) she can't get out of it, as I had the option to put her arms under the zip section. Highly recommended and worth every penny.
Loved this product - happy baby - happy parents! January 30, 2006 N. A. Coughlan 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My son was very restless and had a strong startle reflex. We tried swaddleaze, after being disappointed with a cheaper swaddle which was very scratchy on his skin. We were delighted with Swaddleaze! The fabric is the softest we have ever felt and the velcro is well away from baby so it doesn't scratch. Its so easy to use and straight away our baby was much more content and less fussy. Now he is older we bought a bigger swaddle and he uses it as a sleeping bag with his arms free. Great value for money!
