Terrific high chair! January 6, 2009 Indy Mom (Indianapolis, IN USA) We bought this chair for our 9 mos old after I got tired of tripping over our big, plastic Graco high chair. This one has a much smaller footprint, slides easily up to the table, is sturdy, and looks terrific with our dining room furniture. The tray is easy to slide on and off, and it's easy to clean. I agree that it wouldn't be ideal for smaller babies that can't sit up on their own, but our son is older and we love it! Wish I'd known to ask for this first when we filled out our baby registry, since they really don't need a high chair until they can sit up on their own anyway.
Great Highchair November 17, 2008 Dawn E. Bessette (Warwick, RI) My mom had bought this highchair for her house and when I saw it I had to have it! The wood looks great not cheap like those plastic chairs and it matches the wood in our house too! My son is very comfy in this chair too! If it makes him happy it has to be good.
Nice highchair for the money October 2, 2008 Joann Manieri (Gloversville, NY) I bought this highchair to match my new dining room set. It's just perfect for when my 10 month old grandaughter comes for sunday dinner. It's not big, bulky and ugly like most highchairs. Looks very pretty and seems to be well made.
Great Buy August 15, 2008 A. Mcgrew I think this chair is excellent for the money. It's sturdy and the materials are high quality. It looks beautiful. You can't lean back like one reviewer stated but you are not supposed to lean back at the table anyway; good manners start early.
Nice, but not very functional July 31, 2008 Lily's Mom 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This highchair is pretty, but not very functional compared to other chairs available. . . The chair is not adjustable up or down or reclining. However, this is fine for my 8 month old who sits upright when eating, but I wouldn't recommend it for a younger child. especially before they can sit well on their own. The wood matches our diningroom set (which is why we bought it), but it is soft so scratches easily. One of the trays is screwed into the chair and the other one snaps onto the third tray. This makes it harder to clean than the description makes it sound. Also, the seat coushion is cloth and not easily wiped down. We're going to buy a vinyl one we can wipe down to replace it with, otherwise we'd have to wash it every time our daughter ate. This is a good highchair for the money if you are willing to put in the extra care for aesthetics. It was surprisingly easy to assemble.
