lifesaver! December 20, 2008 S. KIM (SANTA CLARA, CA) This buggy is perfect if you have an infant and a toddler! I also purchased a phil & ted stroller with toddler seat to accomodate my two kids but that was a hassle. The stroller was good if your older child naps but just too bulky which is why I wanted to get the buggy instead. We've also tried the strolli (bike seat attached to stroller) but my daughter claimed her butt was too sore. Good idea but not comfortable. This buggy was a hit! Not only does my daughter think it's fun, it's very easy to get on and off. It was a lifesaver for our trips to disneyland. My hubby was skeptical about the buggy until he realized what a lifesaver this was for him. My daughter didn't nag him to carry her on his shoulders anymore. So although the buggy was a bit pricey, we both agree it's worth the money.
3 year old loves it! September 17, 2008 Hanna Pudenz (Durand, WI United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this item for my three year old so she wouldn't have to walk or have to be carried when she gets tired . I thought installation was easy and it fits on both of my strollers. My three year old loves it! She loves riding on the back like a big girl and can get off whenever she needs. The ride is smooth and it doesn't affect the manueverability of the stroller much. I also haven't noticed that I am tripping on it as I push.
Far below my expectations August 28, 2008 D. Nevo 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Received this as a gift when my second was born for her 4 yrs old sister to use. This seemed like a great thing to have and I read some positive reviews so I was happy about it. Installation was TERRIBLE - I have a Maclaren stroller and had to spend quite a lot of time finding the right spot, tightening, adjusting etc. I don't think there really is a good spot for it on the Maclaren - either it's too high or it gets in the way of the folding mechanism or breaks. My daughter doesn't like it at all. I'm sure there are kids out there who enjoy riding the buggy board but mine mostly refuses... Finally, I'm 5'7 my husband is taller, both of us find it really uncomfortable to walk with the board attached. The company promises high clearance but it doesn't feel like it. The only useful thing really is the folding mechanism that lets you tie the board to the stroller when not in use. Oh - and we're now 4 months into using it and one of the parts that links the board to the stroller fell off. You can still use it but it's not as solid. If I had to do it again I probably would have gone for a double stroller or one of those sit and stand ones.
best thing for older sibling July 14, 2008 Valerie Mother of 2 (Virginia) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
bought it, attached it and traveled with it immediately. awesome through the airport. awesome walking all over new york. awesome walking all through disneyworld. we have a 5 yr old and an infant. it was great. the 5 yr old could get off and on easily. the board easily lifts with a strap. we bought an extra set of attachments so that we could easily move the board from the regular stroller to the jogger (which also required extenders) if you are a walker and have 2 kids this is absolutely worth the money. i only gave 4 stars bc it was a little hard for me to attach the first time.
Excellent! Great for older toddlers/young kids June 5, 2008 Sam (TX , United States) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I have just ordered extra stroller attachments for our "boogy board" as my daughter calls it, so we can attach it to all three of our strollers. (the attachments can be ordered at their website at www.lascal.se) We attached it first to our Maclaren Quest. My older daughter turned five and is "too old" for the stroller, but she loves to ride the boogy board. When we are on long walks or long trips to the mall it is a lifesaver. At the beginning of the year we went to Disney (with our 3 and 5 year old) and we were so happy we had the buggy board for the long walk to and from the car and then from the train to the parks and waiting to get in. Even though we rented a double stroller there and gate checked ours, the stroller and buggy board made a HUGE difference when trying to hurry to and from the park - a couple parks are a big walk! Not to mention how much slower kids are when you are walking. And at the end of the day we would have been carrying her if it wasn't for the buggy board. Yes, you do have to reach around them and walk with smaller steps, but I expected that when I bought it and would much rather do that than carry her. :) We now have a ten month old so I ordered the straps which are used to attach the board to your stroller to go on our double stroller so she'll still be able to "boogy"! As for use, it took a while to get the straps on the stroller (maybe 1/2 hour) but once you have them on where you need them you're set. The straps are what you attach the buggy board to. To remove it you click the arms off the attachment to the stoller, then squeeze the button on the arms to move them out so you can take it off. Or you can unlock it with a twist of the wheel and fold it up - it comes with an attachment for holding it up. I usually take mine off and stick it in the basket, it takes 5-10 seconds to take it off or reattach it. It is very sturdy and was not wobbly at all! We love it!
