Product Description Miracle Blanket - Blue At last, the perfect swaddle made easy! Miracle Blanket earned the "thumbs up" from the Good Housekeeping Institute. Uses no velcro, zippers or other confusing adjustments that can scratch baby and one size fits all. New research shows the benefits of swaddling to calm baby and help ensure longer sleep but the Miracle Blanket makes it easy. It truly is amazing. The Miracle Blanket is made of the highest quality (and cozy) materials available and is stitched with great attention to detail. The Miracle Blanket helps baby sleep on his back to reduce SIDS concerns and clinical studies prove that proper swaddling can often eliminate colic symptoms. Yet most blankets do not provide for a secure swaddle and baby often manages to squirm loose. The Miracle Blanket is easy to use and keeps baby snug. Pediatrician recommended. What are parents saying? "I love this blanket! It has saved me countless hours of sleep and crying. I recommend it to all of my expecting friends in my playgroup." -- Sharon - MN "I was at my wits end when I was introduced to the Miracle Blanket. The first night that I used the blanket, Makena slept four straight hours. By the third night of use she slept six straight hours. This blanket is a lifesaver!" Heather Brady - CA What do the pros say? "...Our more experienced maternity ward nurses were skeptical at first, but now even THEY are asking for more! The new parents ay it's a Miracle!" Director of Women's a Children's Services at UCLA Medical Center "We just put our one month old son down for the second night wrapped in The Miracle Blanket. He seems to love it. He slept six hours straight last night, followed by four hours straight after a quick feeding. You can't complain about that at 1 month! My friend is a pediatrician and she and I are goinig to be recommending the Miracle Blanket to our patients!" Family Practitioner in Arizona

Great for sleeping - wish they made a larger size! December 2, 2008 bayliss (upstate ny) We bought this for my son at 6 weeks, and it has been amazing. We tried the velcro blankets first (hoping to save some money), but he would squirm free in minutes. He can't get out of the miracle blanket, and it really helps him sleep better. However, now I have a problem. My son is 5 1/2 months old, and he will NOT sleep without this blanket! He is too long for it, so we don't put his legs in it anymore, but we still wrap up his arms. He just won't sleep without this! The blanket is not getting any bigger, and my son is! So i'm not sure what I'm going to do in another month or so.
Great for newborns! October 27, 2008 MacroVision We used this until our son wanted more room and freedom at about 3 months which we then moved him to the kiddopotamus that until then wasn't any good because he would come lose in it from wiggling around. No way to wiggle out of the Miracle Blanket!
A great idea May 26, 2008 PB Max My husband and I have come to find that swaddling our baby before sleep really helps him (he is now 5 wks old). We have other blankets and also the Swaddle Me blanket, but the miracle blanket is definitely the best at keeping him swaddled through the night. I haven't experienced the "miracle" of having him sleep through the night with it yet, because he is too young right now, but we use it every night nonetheless. We highly recommend it.
Must have baby product! April 22, 2008 M. Soles (Chicago, IL) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I was so sad the day that I had to finally stop using this blanket because our little guy was getting too big. I started using it around 6 weeks and stopped around 4 months. It is the best blanket ever - our little guy slept 12+ hours from 6 weeks on. This blanket was part of his nighttime routine - he would even straighten out his arms at his side and smile every night when we got ready to start wrapping him up.
I like this better than the ones with velcro. Also, don't forget Karp DVD! March 21, 2008 walktowork (Seattle, WA United States) I bought this item and the Kiddopotamus & Co 100% Cotton Flannel SwaddleMe Sage Gingham - Small at the same time. Initially, I thought the SwaddleMe looked easier to use and was clearly cheaper, but I find that I am using the Miracle Blanket almost exclusively. The two velcro tabs on the SwaddleMe are harder to manipulate than I thought they would be, especially with a struggling baby. In my opinion the Miracle Blanket is overall simpler to use. The Miracle Blanket accommodates all sizes, so it can adjust to baby's growth, and may be a better purchase/gift if you don't know how big the baby will be. Both of these items leave room for baby's legs to move, which is good. (Supposedly, restricting leg movement puts the baby at risk for abnormal hip development.) One user review mentions that her baby keeps kicking her legs out, but theoretically, it shouldn't matter because the swaddling is really about controlling the arms, not legs. Don't forget Dr. Karp's DVD The Happiest Baby on the Block - The New Way to Calm Crying and Help Your Baby Sleep Longer (DVD) because swaddling is only one of several steps to calming your baby. This is my second baby and so far, it's been a much better experience than with my firstborn. I didn't know about these techniques back then and my first baby's constant inconsolable crying made me absolutely miserable.
