Product Description
Tolo Toys' classic plastic cash register makes a versatile toy and learning tool! Kids use it for imaginative play; they develop hand-eye coordination and familiarize themselves with numbers and keypads like those found on phones. Each of the 9 numbered keys makes a sound as it is pressed, the cash register drawer rings when opened and the credit card slot beeps and flashes when the included card is slid through, all of which stimulate the senses and instill an understanding of cause-and-effect. Tolo Toys' register even includes paper money for added pretend play.

My 3-year old daughter played with this toy as a prop for play stores, movie theaters, and any other scenario she designed which required buying and selling. The ATM-card scanner with its beeps was a big hit. It was well used for a limited time and worth the price. However, she was ready to move on to a calculating cash register with play money replicating real money within 9-12 months.
