5 out of 5 stars wonderful curly hair product....   December 26, 2008
LaPetite (Orlando, FL USa)
I love, love Hair Milk from CD. It is the number one staple in my hair care regime. I use it in conjuction with Hair Balm to give my curls definition. The Hair Milk is really light and great for moisture. The smell maybe a little overwhelming but as the day goes on it becomes more faint.

5 out of 5 stars Love this product!   December 26, 2008
V. Kirkland (Waldorf, MD)
I was skeptical about purchasing this product, but I am so glad that I did. First of all, the aroma is refreshing. As soon as you open the bottle its like you have picked fresh lemons right off of a tree. Secondly, the texture is perfect. Not too greasy and not too watery. Finally, the moisture and shine that your hair will experience is unmatched. The one suggestion I have is to purchase the larger bottle so you won't be said, like I was, when you run out. Enjoy!

5 out of 5 stars Works for me   December 8, 2008
J Nelson (Miami, FL USA)
For years I've kept my coarse, natural hair cut down to my scalp - low enough to require no combing, just minimal brushing. I so dislike hair fallout during combing. Decided to try CD's products out of curosity. I now have three months of hair growth using the Hair Milk, and I think I've spotted just one strand of hair in the face bowl. My usually dry hair has more body and is moist to the touch with this product. I apply the product about two to three times weekly. It works for me. My barber misses me, I'm sure.

1 out of 5 stars Don't buy it!   November 13, 2008

I purchased this Carol's Daughter Hair Milk prior to reading reviews. I was so impressed by the owner when she appeared on Tyra; I spontaneously went to the Carol's Daughter website and made several purchases of over priced items. I would strongly suggest that women with relaxed hair do not use. It dried my hair out totally! I then attempted to put this product in my nephews naturally curly hair, and it took the curl out of his hair and dried it out... making it stiff. Keep your money. The one product that I would recommend by Carol's Daughter is the Love Butter (for dry skin). The hair products are not made for the typical black woman who perms or colors their hair. I really wanted to support a minority business, especially one owned by a woman, but it's just not worth the hype!

4 out of 5 stars So Far So Good   November 12, 2008
Angela (San Diego, CA)
I just bought the Hair Milk yesterday and so far I like it. I am biracial (black and mexican) and I'm transitioning. I tried using mixed chicks but my hair felt stiff and waxy. I like how this product conditions both my natural hair and my relaxed hair and leaves it feeling so soft! It's not too greasy either. My hair is left shiny and looks very healthy. I could do without the smell though. It smells alot like Lemon Pledge. But I'm hoping it will wear off throughout the day. But even if it doesn't it's just a small price to pay for such a wonderful product. Thank you Carol's Daughter!
