The negative feedback seems to be spot on. I should have paid more attention. The lower right hand corner strap is much smaller than the two on the left side. As a result, I am not able to fit the Kindle in the case, which may be that mine is defective. I will be returning this promptly. The original is a better product.

This is a GREAT PRODUCT!!! My Kindle fits perfectly in this case while being able to use all of the functions of the Kindle, keyboard, all of the buttons, etc. This is the case that Amazon should be providing with the Kindle instead of the piece of garbage that comes with the Kindle!!

My review concerns more the quality of delivery of the product than the product itself. I paid for next day delivery. The POST OFFICE tried to deliver it two days after it was shipped, but I was out. Of course the seller had in their wisdom decided that I needed to sign for the product. Having bought through Amazon for years I've never required a signature for delivery.
So, when I went to the post office to pick up my package, they couldn't find it.
In sum, I can't really say what the product is like because of the terrible delivery service. I am stopping payment and will probably never see the product.

This cover is a more professional product than the standard cover that comes with the Kindle. The leather is soft (but perhaps too thin?) and smells good. I don't have any of the issues with dye transfer that others have noted. My Kindle fits inside it very snugly and I have no fear of it falling out.
I think it is missing two features that would make me give it a fifth star. First, I believe the case it self could be just a little thicker and less pliable. I carry my Kindle in my computer bag in a front pocket with a constant nagging worry about something crushing it. Second, I would like to see the closure use a snap instead of the slot and tab type it current uses. The leather is thin and soft enough I sometimes have trouble getting the tab into the slot.

I bought the M-edge case for my Kindle after reading about it in a forum. I didn't care for the case that came with the Kindle since it didn't feel secure and was awkward to hold. The M-edge executive case is very secure and quite easy to use with the cover folded back. I'm very happy with it and when it wears out, I plan to replace it with the leather version. It's a very nice product.
